Jude Bellingham

I thought after the second Chelsea goal that he seemed to lose a bit of energy and started to overhit the ball when driving forward. As a result he was overstretching increasing the risk of injury (to himself and opposition) in 50/50 challenges.
No surprise that he was late on James, and seemed to strain his groin later on. Could be a problem for him in the future, like Jack Wilshere.

£100m player...? Not in my opinion, but I suspect we'll start throwing money at him and Dortmund in the summer.

I still stand by what I have previously said, give me Jacob Ramsey over Bellingham everyday.

Technical ability is not something you learn as you age, you either have it or you don’t and Bellinghams technical ability is not something you spend 150m on.

Loses too many balls for a suppossed World Class midfielder. And I don't think it can be atributted to age. All the best young midfielders in the World came out the gate with great ball control and possession: De Jong, Pedri, Gavi, Enzo, Verratti. This kid feels like a winger that somebody put on midfield.

I would tend to agree with you on this… seem similar in profile and ability, yet one is more considerably rated (hence, priced) than the other. I would take Ramsey all day if it’s for so £40-50m

He wasnt too great tonight but i dont think dortmund turned up. Get him working under pep and a lot of the moaning traits will be gone.

Your paying for potential, hes 19, hes gundos replacement in my opinion not bernies. Hes the energy thats needed in our midfield. I think he has a skill set that will thrive under peps tutilage although he didnt show it tonight.

He didn't perform against Chelsea any better or worse than against us. He just always manages to get on the scoresheet against us which shines his performances as a whole in a far better light.

I think he'd be a good signing but anything over 100M would be criminal.

Personally would prefer De Jong to him, he doesn't seem worth around half of our transfer budget yet.

I'd rather bring Nigel back, than spend that much on him!

He looks OK, but the kind of fee getting bandied about is based on potential, which might not even materialise.

told everyone here that he is incredibly overrated. he has the skills but not the brains. he goes easily missing when asked to compete against a competent midfield. he was dominated by a USA midfield for fuck sake. he has no idea how to control a midfield. he will need a year or two of pep coaching for him to be useful in our midfield. if we buy him he is best utilized as a 10 in place of KDB. bellingham should not be a gundo or bernardo replacement.

Watched him purposley last night, he wasn't fully fit so it was very difficult to decide anything about him other than, he's a very a determined young man with a strong desire to fight for everything. his overall performnce was poor.
Pep and his team will know everything about him I just feel Dortmunds price will make us walk away in the end.

If we are going to spend £100 mil on someone I`d like them to stand out in a game. He didn`t impress last night and not when I`ve turned on just to see his qualities in other games.

Without a doubt Bellingham is a top talent, I would n't be judging him too much on last nights performance. He has the energy and legs we need in midfield and can chip in with the odd goal. The transfer fee is too high of course but you have the English premium and you are paying for potential.

FDJ over Jude any day of the week.

Cheaper, better and would settle instantly, Jude has enormous potential but with the fee required it's a huge risk.
For half the price FDJ should be a no-brainer. I`ve watched lots and lots of Dortmund games over the past few years and I can`t see the hype. Sure he`s pretty good and very young, but currently nowhere near the player people say he is. He`s not a better talent than any of Pedri, Gavi, Musiala or Wirtz. Don`t think he`s good enough on the ball for a Pep team and tends to lose the ball extremely often. If I had a quid for every time he conceded a counterattack by losing the ball in the middle, I`d be able to pay for him myself. Frenkie is the most perfect Pep player out there, his wages could be an issue though
