God. MacAllister is a brilliant player but the idea of having to put up with their fans and journalists again after Cucurella is enough to calm a semi down.

Not to mention the fee.

;-)

Isn’t she a Manc? And a red…?

The idea of dealing with Brighton and their insanely overimportant press pack immediately ruins any enthusiasm for Mac Allister as a transfer.

Also a fanbase that still commonly wrote about "Raheem Stirling" after 6 years and can't get Haaland right is never going to make it through the minefield that's "Mac Allister"

Blimey…. So you think we should be in for Lazaros Christodoulopoulos ? Club shop profits would boom.

Mac Allister and Kovacic would be at least £150 mill, Gvardiol abot 90. If we aren't looking at wingers now I still don't see why not getting Bellingham would change that, as we still be buying 2 midfielders.
Think that only changes if we decide to move Foden or Grealish instead of buying a midfielder.
Don’t see how both would cost together £150m, kovacic has one year left and Mac Allister has two years left on their deals. Plus if we don’t get Bellingham there will be more room in the budget to go for a left back or a winger that could improve the team. We will already have 2 midfielders and a centre back.

Don’t think he’s disinterested, just a bit shit. Not at our level. If we can move him on, then great. There must be a decent replacement out there,
Said he was a clogger last summer and was ridiculed and suggested I was mad to think such things. I feel vindicated

It sounds mega having Bellingham and Mac Allister but I unfortunately can’t see us doing £225m plus on two midfielders?
