Why not both?Honestly!! I prefer Jack.

Foden, Mahrez, Palmer and Alvarez can all play in that position, we need full backs not wingers. Why not both?

2 makeshift wingers and 2 RWs one of which isn't too goodFoden, Mahrez, Palmer and Alvarez can all play in that position, we need full backs not wingers.
I'm sure they can and would be pretty good at it too.Foden and Jack also have the ability to play in midfield.
Palmer and Mahrez CANNOT play LW... so really just Foden from your list.
Alvarez has never been tested on the wings much, I don't see him as a winger either.
We don't play with out and out wingers I'm sure they would all be fine in the role.2 makeshift wingers and 2 RWs one of which isn't too good
But we have suffered without pace. We need that dynamism. We have become too predictableWe don't play with out and out wingers I'm sure they would all be fine in the role.
Agreed pace is something we need but for me it isn't the priority, we need a left back. I ain't saying this fella is crap but for he isn't better than Jack. But we have suffered without pace. We need that dynamism. We have become too predictable
If we get an Overlapping fullback we would be less predictableAgreed pace is something we need but for me it isn't the priority, we need a left back. I ain't saying this fella is crap but for he isn't better than Jack.
Predictable is some fans opinion which i respect but do not agree with, we are again the top scorers so for me attack is not the main option. you are bang on an overlapping fullback would give us something we need, they would have to be much more than just a full back though. If we get an Overlapping fullback we would be less predictable

He is comfortably better than Jack at almost everything IMO
People overestimating the quality of big fish in tiny ponds never ceases to amaze me.
Give the guy some credit he has done very well this seasonJack was a big fish in a tiny pond. He's now an incredibly underwhelming little seahorse in an ocean of sharks. It's only really on this forum that we're expected to pretend he's been amazing.
At least Mitoma knows where the net is and has the guts to aim for it every once in a while.
We should be scouting guys like Bellingham, Mitoma and buying them for peanuts rather than paying £100m or so for them once someone else has discovered them?
