Not sure I get the Kane hate on this thread.

Yes, he made a mistake which cost him his move, he tried his best to rectify it, interview and going on strike.

Bad decision hiring his brother as agent, one done based on love/ loyalty over commercial rationale.

We all think we might not do the same, but who knows.

His brother is the one to blame

He’s starting to gel more now with the team and working back plus getting involved more by dropping deeper at times? He’s the fucking bollocks and pure mutual player and fan adulation

Charlie Kane didn't oversee the contract signing that got Harry stuck at Spurs, he became his brother's agent after that.

The cookie monster of goals. Eats them for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Every single Premier League player with more than 40 goals in a single season:

44 - Ruud van Nistelrooy (Manchester United) - 2002/03
44 - Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - 2017/18
42 - Erling Braut Haaland (Manchester City) - 2022/23
42 - Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) - 2007/08
41 - Andy Cole (Newcastle United) - 1993/94
41 - Harry Kane (Tottenham) - 2017/18

And to think many on the thread were telling me I was crazy for my belief In him.

@Dax777 I like you as a poster but your 25 goals all competitions looks very silly now
I predicted 25 goals? I guess I must have been :) trying to temper expectations. But clearly silly of me to not show more faith.

I couldn't be happier to have been wrong :)

I disagree. His movement in the box is world class and that is what will get him his goals at City. I've watched him plenty of times where you think he is completely marked and then he makes a perfectly timed run, bullies the defenders and frees up some space for himself to score. With the quality of player we have in Kev, Grealish, Foden etc. feeding him he will not be short of goals at all. He is not a player that needs space to run into, that is just one side of his game. I haven't seen a striker as good as Haaland in the box in a long long time.
This.

I’d be very interested in knowing how many MINUTES these other players played to get their numbers, because in the era of 5 subs, Haaland gets yanked in games other players couldn’t/wouldn’t in the era of 1 sub or 3 subs!

Feels like MINUTES PER GOAL is a much better, and fairer, statistic across the numerous footballing eras.

I said he could score 50 league goal and 20 cup goals.

He cant score 22 goals in the next 11 league games and another 6 cup goals in 7 cup matches.

Or can he ?

8-)
