100% this, and it's been that way since the pisscan first stumbled drunkenly through the swamp door.

Every club in the whole universe now and again gets a slice of luck that saves them: a 96th minute highly debatable penalty that gives them three points, or puts them through to the next round. Or an obvious red card challenge that the ref doesn't notice so not even a yellow.
These things happen every so often, and the club that benefits from this slice of good fortune breathes a sigh of relief and says "We got out of jail."
And then when you realise these highly fortuitous chain of events happen to one club, consistently, throughout the season, then you have to question what is happening to the game? Why is it always that one club that gets the decisions that help them, game in game out?
Even the most blinkered football fan would have to admit that there is something quite sinister in the way they are refereed in comparison with other clubs.

‘They’ (or at least some of them), seem to think the complete opposite and quote the fact that Casemiro was never sent off whilst at Real (you know the Real of Ramos fame…), but has been twice, ‘TWICE’ for united, as though that’s an indication that they are reffed appallingly and biasedly… when he could be sent off in most games ( a La Scholes) and isn’t.
They also (though again some do see it), totally fail to see the leniency with which Fernandes is reffed - hardly/no cards for chopping opponents , diving, harassing the ref constantly.
As alluded to it is subtle and small things, that all add up to a large advantage - eg no cards till nearer the end of game than early on, cards for opponents at the earliest opportunity, and the ongoing 30 year old ‘extra extra time if united are losing by a goal/drawing till they score’

I ask because I've just spoken to my neighbour. For years her brother would drive up, park on her drive and go and watch the rags. I mentioned I'd not seen his car in awhile. Apparently he didnt renew this season as he was sick of watching rubbish!!!
