I broke my leg last week, advice on how to cope with six weeks of inactivity welcomed.

Mr Pole. You were on here and we all liked you, in fact, we took you in as one of our own and how did you repay us ? You flounced off that's how. You left us to deal with the aftermath, the posters who could not cope without you, the Samaritans were inundated and darkened rooms became the norm.
Yesterday was a joyous day as Mr Pole returned. As the news spread so dormant accounts were reactivated, mental hospitals emptied and tissue sales plummeted, no they were for the tears you perve.
Today though is truth day. You haven't returned because you've missed us, our wit, repartee and intellectual something or other, you've returned because you're bored!!
Huh. I'm going back to my darkened room.

Some of them are just the videos of course lectures that they make available to the public along with the expected course work/materials. Others are specifically designed to be delivered online.

As always Misty you doubt my honour. I am not back because I am bored. I didn’t abandon you, I had to have time away. I looked in from time to time, did I notice a plummet in content excellence? Of course I did. Who wouldn’t?

I returned before the CL final as I sensed my absence got to the payers and Pep with results not happening. I decided to return. Like the Romans Legions Eagle, just seeing me can turn a battle weary group and transform them into invincible heroes. We are seeing that happen already.

I hope you can forgive me.

Done a couple of them and I started one from MIT but gave that up cause it was too hard and stopped being fun.

You have to 'shop around' a bit to find one that's the right level, duration and format for what you want but there's quite a lot around.

Of course I can. Yes I was upset when you disappeared over the hill without so much as a goodbye but then I'm used to that. After all my mum did it when I was 4. The problem was so did my dad, my 2 brothers and my pet Hamster.

Rather than the time honoured BM response of suggesting something both idiotic and sexually deviant, I'm just going to say that if there's anything you've fancied learning about but not had the chance there are thousands of completely free online courses these days on the various MOOCs that exist.

When I was laid up for a while I did a couple, because I'm a boring fucker I did one on Behavioural Economics and one on Anthropology, but you can do all sorts of different stuff. You can do them in lots of different ways too, just download and do the courses for free or you can pay if you want your assessments marked. You can do self paced ones or even join a course which has date/time online lectures and tutor groups (that usually costs a few quid though).

Went online and got myself on a guitar course. See, it does help to talk as men. I would have fucked about and done nothing positive. Of that there is no fucking doubt. So to those that advised doing something I salute and thank you. Was a kick up the arse I needed.

I fucking love that. Me me laugh. And to be fair to me, that Traffic cone thing never went to court. I heard. From a friend, a camp one.

I never knew that about Carlton Hill, if I did, I wouldn’t have gone there at midday in the pissing fucking rain. Never catch a break to get some action. Just a fucking leg break. Where’s the trust?
