Foden back in training / on the plane to Munich

did he have a 6' 6" defender in the car with him kicking fuck out of him, kneeing him in the back, elbowing him in the ribs and generally kicking the shit out of him for 90 mins
No but F1 drivers are subjected to similar g forces as fighter pilots.

(Okay maybe not Williams F1 drivers…)

We’ll the report I read said emergency which makes me think it came on suddenly and maybe burst. I hope I’m not being pessimistic. :-)
My sister had the “sudden” onset many years ago, removed the appendix but nearly died from a complication. A brilliant Doctor at A&E (she’d been released after the op) spotted the symptoms and had her rushed to Theatre within an hour, they just made it. Then 6 weeks in the old Woods convalescence home in Glossop (now Rubén’s Retreat), very worrying time for the family. She’s still with us in very good health.

Now let's get this right.
A couple of days in hospital.
A couple of weeks to recover from the op.
A further week to fully recover from the effects of the hospital food.
So about 3 - 4 weeks total.

;- )
Medical professionals reckon it's normally 2-4 weeks if the appendix is removed by keyhole surgery.

I'd say it'll be closer to 4 weeks because their medical estimate is retuning to normal work, not running up & down a football pitch for 90 minutes, having the shit kicked out of you...

Lol as opposed to working 12 hour shifts carrying out manual labour duties, footballers shoud be back within two weeks if you're comparising them against us mear mortals that actually work for a living.

No offence meant, but I'd expect someone doing manual work would be placed on light duties & only be expected to do what they were physically capable of.

No offence taken my friend, I'm sure a lot of these players couldn't do the light duties.
