At the back, close to an entrance and exit to the viewing gallery above. The corporates could arrive and leave as they please.

One indication of that not happening would be if the club made all of NSL2 safe standing. That would rule out corporate completely on NSL2.

To be fair we are all guessing, the only one that doesn’t seem to be guessing is @Manchester33 who has spoken to the club and asked for and been shown the plans. He doesn’t seem to think ther is any hospitality.
Guess we will need to wait and see.

SOUTH STAND -
I think it’s important to also get 1894 involved in the organisation of fans in SS 1 & 3.

Some won’t or can’t move to NS but want to be in an END to create atmosphere and two singing ends are better than one.

They should be given priority for seats in the central blocks directly behind the goals at the back and middle of SS3.

The overall numbers may be initially lower but the importance long term will be similar.

Additionally, I know the relocation of away fans from SS3 to ‘round the corner’ in ESL1 is logistically possible without compromising safety or proximity to the coach park.

This section will probably be vacated by many who go to one of the ends.

This is the last opportunity to get the reconfiguration of fans right for the long term future. 1894 should be all over this.

Finally, the family stand seems to be a stone in the shoe.
If one is required could it not be relocated to around the access tunnel area and become part of an International Stand for foreign tourists who don’t want the earthy Mancunian experience of being next to a hairy arsed, pissed up coke head !!

Finally finally, re engaging with displaced/lapsed season ticket holders from the Maine Road era (estimated at 12000) would create significant demand from the waiting list.

Let’s not forget those in the family stand tier 2 now are making the first 30 rows full, they won’t want safe standing!

They'll have to move elsewhere then won't they this new stand needs to be standing

If the so called sky bar is going to be feature of the new North Stand why dont they lower it to just above the last row of seats , doing this would help the accoustics winthin the stand. This is why all Yellow Wall type stands are picthed at at a certain angle to help the noise. Popolus have designed loads of staduims with a copy of the Yellow Wall at one end, hopefully City are letting them do this and not driven by getting in more coprate area's in the ground

Yep, we've been told that there won't be any hospitality 'in the north stand'. Whether that means just the stands (so they have a corporate viewing platform) is uncertain - they didn't go into too much detail.

They did say that extra hospitality would come - but it's very likely to be elsewhere in the stadium (East Stand).

Having only seen the 2D sketch we can't tell whether those Sky bar windows are flush with the wall at the back of the tier. The windows could easilly be set back with a viewing platform and seats on top of that back wall.

Can't see the roof being any lower than the other 3 sides so making the bar lowerwouldn't make any difference apart from cutting the number of extra seats.

ESL1 singers should be invited the relocate to NSL2 or SSL3 where they could create a second singing end .

Two ends are better than one.......as every dirty girl will tell you !!

Having only seen the 2D sketch we can't tell whether those Sky bar windows are flush with the wall at the back of the tier. The windows could easilly be set back with a viewing platform and seats on top of that back wall.

Yeah, there is tons of things that could happen and I'm sure the club will release new renders when they've finalised plans.

The current plan is to demolish level 2 entirely and rebuild - so it's effectively a blank canvas (from level 2 up).

all is speculation at the moment, all we know for sure is that it is two tier / aimed at atmosphere & singing / opens 2024 / 2025 season.

there will be hospitality but we dont know if it will be seated or in the back, we are hoping not seated because it messes the stand up for us as in tier two of south stand. There will be a hotel but back end of stand. Think everything is thrown in apart from an airport !

Been quite a lot of talk about away fans being moved, somebody even mentioned east stand level three but not a chance of this. Certainly not heard any rumours myself about moving away fans as much as id personally like to see it happen.

nobody knows what will happen with family section, there will still be one but where nobody knows. What fans have to realise is people are going to have to move.

It would surely have to be separate. Ideally behind the stand/ behind the glass. If they put a corporate section in a home end then they really don’t understand what’s needed and only want to increase the revenue, rather than the atmosphere

After the recent incidents in cup games with away fans above home fans, I can’t imagine they’re going to even entertain the idea of making it that way ( or home above away ) for potentially volatile league games aswell.

All and any advantages should now be given to City fans to build fortress Etihad. It’s the last chance to refigure it for the long term.

No other club in history has conceded home advantage to away fans as City. It’s time to stop !!
