Can anyone wrap their head around him having 10 goals in his last 3 games whereas Sterling and Jesus both only have 7 all season long in all comps. Like… he literally almost matched their combined seasons in three matches in which he never made it to 70 minutes in any of them before being subbed off. I still can’t comprehend it. He’s unreal.

Shame it was a rubbish cross from Grealish that meant he had to fling himself at the ball like that…

Yeah. Stood behind the goal I was thinking can you bicy - boom, yes you can!

Even from the other end of the ground, when Kev hit the cross for the first you could see Haaland would get their first and score.

He is remarkable.

Interesting that Pep was talking in his presser after the match about Erling's impact off the field and I know a senior player told someone I know just the other day that Haaland is the nicest guy and has no arrogance.

That must be some sight to remember.

Yes, there have been some moments in my time watching City and that will be one of the most memorable. I know he is agile for a big guy but I wasn't expecting that finish. Saw MotD last night and it honestly didn't compare to seeing it live.
Pure beauty in motion.

Don’t see how it’s bad at all. It’s a long season. His minutes need to be managed. And hopefully they’re managed next year as well as they have been this one.

Pretty much what Pep said yesterday, if you read between the lines.

Guardiola did admit his young striker still has work to do to be bracketed with the two modern greats, citing his freakish build as a potential barrier to staying fit for long periods.

He said: "He is so competitive but to reach the Cristano and Messi levels is a lot of work. They don't get injured. Erling is tall, he's huge, he needs a lot of care, physios, not just one but a lot of people.

Bournemouth, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Nottingham Forest, Southampton, West Ham and Wolverhampton Wanderers have all scored less Premier League goals than Erling Håland this season!

This is unbelievably good. If he wants to stay top of this list he has to continue posting 50+ goal seasons.

Given it looks like that's not been achieved by anybody in top flight English football for about 95 years it would be totally outrageous for him to just start doing that year in year out (though I do think it's possible for him in this City team if he stays fit).

He averages about 7 goals a calendar year for Norway so in a year with no World Cup he could have been over 50 already.

Question for the stattos. Was it Royle or Keegan who signed Alfi? Either way it was the best signing they made.
