Who is he technically better than/level with, as we already have (this is a rhetorical question really because it’s so ridiculous to say he’s technically better than de Bruyne, Gundogan, Bernardo, Foden…)?

I’ve watched him in eleven games this season and in all seven when he played against a good midfield, he was poor, and in a few of those he was genuinely terrible.

Got to say, I agree.

Not saying he is a bad player but I clearly need glasses as I'm not seeing the player everyone else is seeing. Cerainly not the one worth £130m+

Now that FSG and Liverpool have admitted defeat in the chase for Bellingham, operation Bellingham to Madrid, previously operation Bellingham to Liverpool, has kicked in.

Daichi Kamada leaves Frankfurt, was linked in the past as the number one Bellingham replacement for Dortmund , 2 Dortmund Journalist have retweeted Frankfurts announcement. Dortmund will have to act fast as Bayern are sniffing, we will probably see a Bellingham brief soon from Dortmund. Since Kamada is rumoured to be the replacement

But that’s exactly where Agbonlahor thinks Bellingham will end up, as he told talkSPORT Breakfast (12/04/23).

“Man City will go and get him (Bellingham),” said Agbonlahor. “They will offer the package. It shouldn’t be allowed, but it’s about the package.

“What signing-on fee can you offer the player? What wages can you offer the player? What can the agent get out of the deal? That’s what it’s all about. Liverpool are probably looking at it and thinking ‘Let’s not waste any time here, we can’t afford it’.”

If the inventible happens, and Liverpool don’t sign Bellingham, then fans have to see it as a blessing in disguise.

The powers that be at Anfield can then focus on buying multiple players for the price of one big superstar.
 
I can see him going to Madrid. They’ve got midfielders on their way out and he could lead them into the next few seasons, talisman etc. I can see that that’s how it’s been sold to him. Yes we’ll probably lose Bernie and Gundo but i don’t think he’ll be the big fish here he will be there.

Hope I’m wrong clearly

as madrid are. i dont think he does go there for this move. Hes english and because of that i think in his career he wants to win the premier league. I think hes been ours for a while. And all this pr nonsence from the press is to get clicks and such because they know full well dippers, rags madrid fans will fetch them that.

when there no longer able to spin that narrative it will become the money narrative like its already starting to do so.

I hope you’re right but he can still be England’s main man outside of the prem.

Image wise his sponsors might suggest it would be better for him not to divide English’s support by signing for a prem team?

I agree though, once the narrative becomes cash he’s ours

Not really i think english talent has to play in english league at some point in his career and i think its easier to go from england to spain than it is the other way around.

look at the sponsors grealish gets. i dont think its a tribal at england now. I also think under southgate your favoured more if you play in the premier league.

i think its done to city personally.
