Far better to hand him over to Pep and see what he can do with him, he’ll be given the time to be whatever he wants to be, we pay the fee & his wages, give him one of the greatest platforms in world football and the rest is down to him. I couldn’t give a toss what the fee is btw (see Grealish) if the club think his game & profile will provide big returns then it’s a yes from me. In what way would you quantify that he’d be a bigger success playing for them? Individual success, trophies, caps, playing style, improvement in club fortunes, development?

It will be no chance, his Dortmund contract is up in 2025, if he stays another season he'll only have 12 months left on his contract so his worth will plummet, he's going in the summer and he's coming to Beswick M11
 
Its the dippers pulling out that gets me. Never in the the race. Get the Cortina back or the mondeo or whatever he is called from Villa. There must be 30 grand still left from the first deal.

It’s like me publicly staying I’m retiring from international football so no longer available for selection for the England squad when I’ve only played at pub level
