Cancelo's crosses weren't great unless it was a Trivela and he couldn't defendCancelo is the player you describe though.

Que? Cancelo isn’t an overlapping left back, he’s right footed for a start. Pretty obvious we are all talking about a left footed left back.Cancelo is the player you describe though.
I wouldn't, it's no coincidence that Grealish has excelled with no Cancelo in the team. He's had more space to operate in.I'm not sure that we need Gvardiol especially with the form of Ake. I'd take an overlapping leftback instead, who can put crosses in.
We don't have that player at the moment and he would be perfect in that team.
I'm still in the "do whatever we can to keep Bernie" corner too.
except his attitude and effect on the dressing room is at the very least, questionable.Cancelo is the player you describe though.
Me to.I sincerely hope Bernardo stays
I'm loving what Grealish is bringing to the team, the penny dropped for him and he has been brilliant the last month or so.I wouldn't, it's no coincidence that Grealish has excelled with no Cancelo in the team. He's had more space to operate in.
I'll take a left back the exact same as Ake, just more natural in that position.
In the current market, those ‘academy’ players are pushing more toward the £100m mark, especially when comparing to last season; bellis, Doyle and Mcatee should fetch upwards of 70 on their own….Mcatee is one of the stand out players in the championship, would imagine 30+ with a buy back option! If you look at the potential sales from the Academy alone, Harwood-Bellis, Doyle, McAtee, Esbrand, Steffen, Couto etc, we could easily get £60 million there without potential first team outgoings of Cancelo and Silva.
When you consider we’re talking about paying €40mill on Viega, Mactee could easily take a squad place next seasonIn the current market, those ‘academy’ players are pushing more toward the £100m mark, especially when comparing to last season; bellis, Doyle and Mcatee should fetch upwards of 70 on their own….Mcatee is one of the stand out players in the championship, would imagine 30+ with a buy back option!
Considering at the end of the season he has been with us for 3 yrs and his price was €65m anything more than €26m would be seen as a profit on the books.Yep but silva might stay and we ain’t getting anything for Cancelo no one will pay the 60m we would want! Even if we knocked the fee down to 40m with his wages he be hard to shift
Indeed, however that appetite for game time will surely dictate having played the best part of 40 games by season end! When you consider we’re talking about paying €40mill on Viega, Mactee could easily take a squad place next season
There’s no reason he couldn’t replace Berny along with Jude replacing GundoIndeed, however that appetite for game time will surely dictate having played the best part of 40 games by season end!
Big ask for me personally, pal, to fill that void; should Bernardo move on, which is highly likely this year, we are losing a world class operator who although has no comparable in Europe for me, has to be replaced with a player with not only more experience but also maturity, you can’t lose both gundo and Bernie and not expect a downturn with that proposed youth, however talented they are….There’s no reason he couldn’t replace Berny along with Jude replacing Gundo
I tend to agree, however, if we are going for Viega and Bellingham as the replacements then the big question is why Viega over Mactee?Big ask for me personally, pal, to fill that void; should Bernardo move on, which is highly likely this year, we are losing a world class operator who although has no comparable in Europe for me, has to be replaced with a player with not only more experience but also maturity, you can’t lose both gundo and Bernie and not expect a downturn with that proposed youth, however talented they are….
with Bellingham coming in, we will need a balance!
Iv'e thought for a while, Foden is the closest we have to Bernardo's skill set, energy, close control. play central or wde right.Big ask for me personally, pal, to fill that void; should Bernardo move on, which is highly likely this year, we are losing a world class operator who although has no comparable in Europe for me, has to be replaced with a player with not only more experience but also maturity, you can’t lose both gundo and Bernie and not expect a downturn with that proposed youth, however talented they are….

By whom? Can you elaborate? Is it flight tracking time already?I'm over at signature (private jet)just waiting for the players ,just been told jb22 was here the other day
This harks back to the days when elite clubs would start a player destabilisation campaign through the media, forcing the player's club to the negotiating table with a low-ball offer.
Club's fearing a transfer request & a player agitating for a move & even threatening to go on strike, ultimately ended up yielding.
The Scousers still think this will work today as it's always done... Really? \0/
Can't say sorryBy whom? Can you elaborate? Is it flight tracking time already?
