PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It would seem that the charges rather than derailing our management and team have had the reverse effect.

As TH posted the red shirts claim we had nothing to beat this year so I can only assume their collective demise has been self inflicted as a result of the charges.
It's galvanised us, definitely.

so what is the only charge remaining now, failure to comply?
No idea as i said it is only a rumor from those that want it to happen. Personally i am loving these poor idiots taking City charges and bans, the vast amount liverpool fans, utd seem to have just given up,must admit i wonder what everybody else`s findings are concerning which are the most deluded fans?

at some point im quite sure we will come on this thread maybe page 3500 and next to the topic title in brackets will be- (charges now dropped)

They perhaps are not worried about the charges as it's politically motivated, the Red Shirt clubs don't want any interference in their business model which often amounts to slowly asset stripping the clubs they own

I honestly think this will just wither away, I doubt the PL want's to go full on legal with this, and I am sure they wont want their dirty washing airing in public
The PL will have to make some kind of statement down the line as the judge making it 'of public interest' ensures that. Although it may just be along the lines of 'Bollocks to the red shirts, we're calling it quits'.

The day these charges are finished with and City exonerated will truly be a sight to behold.
And if we win the title this year it will truly be a win to eclipse all but the Agueroooo title.
The fa, the PL, uefa, fifa, pgmol, all media, all journalism, and of course the red-shirted old-money clubs have thrown everything at us this year to derail us.
They didn’t bank on Pep coming out and fighting like a rat in a sack to defend our club and our name. Nor the galvanising effect it has had on us.

Around 13 years ago got talking to a guy who said he was head of communications for the Premier league. The impression I got was that (as with the Government white paper) the Premier league wanted to be self regulating but ffp was being imposed on them by UEFA and they weren't entirely sure on how it was going to be implemented. One interesting thing he did say was one of the questions he asked UEFA was how clubs were going to increase revenues. His example to them was Sunderland a large club, good support but not very successful how do they increase their revenues and they came back at him with " increase the size of the stadium " This guy wasn't very impressed with this and was pretty scathing of this attitude. At the time he said that something needed doing but intimated that was being pushed by the larger clubs namely the G14 clubs.

They will pick a busy news day it’s how it works, probably some seismic event, to bury it

It is word of mouth generally from people who want it to be true but, the charges were narrowed down to 5 City have squashed 4 of them are are very confident that the last will follow soon.
Sorry but this is rubbish. It's based on a tweet from someone who was at an OSC branch meeting which was addressed by someone from the club, and either misunderstood what he was told, or did understand but worded his tweet poorly.

The charges were under five main headings from the start and my understanding is that the club is confident that four of those five are bullshit. The only one that they seem less confident about is the charge of non-cooperation.

I've done my own analysis of the charges (as far as we can work out exactly what they relate to) and agree with the club. The charges are pretty thin, leftovers from UEFA's charges and even seem to include one we sorted out with UEFA a few years before the Der Spiegel articles.

There's no doubt that PL competitor clubs have reached a level of desperation about MCFC. They now know the cost of competing with them on all levels, academy, infrastructure, stadia never mind squad build. Oh to be a fly on the wall at one of the countless "we have to do something to stop them" chit chats.
The silence re the prosecution of the charges is deafening. We don't even know if they've started. Given the charges against Barca, Juventus, Everton and us it seems the Lawyers are the winners.
The PL will be drooling at the prospect us being hit like Juve...

But I & many others want their dirty washing aired in public. I’d like to see City go to town like George Galloway at the senate, destroying all the innuendo with facts in the most vociferous manner. Many are too lazy to read the truth in detailed court papers so that would be perfect.

If we are innocent of course ;-)

Has the Arsenal fan who chairs the panel picked the other panel members yet?
Don't believe so, and I've never seen any suggestion of a Timetable or a plan, never seen a description of the process, eg is it all writen submissions ? (in which case Lord Panick will not be needed). Given the number of charges and the seriousness its pathetic that none of this has been clarified.

100% this

The whole process is a joke, this is a very serious matter yet there seems no public procedure which seems wrong and utterly bizarre from both sides.
