Following the City philosophy of investing for the long term with world class executives, coaches, players and facilities will pay off and generate a momentum.

Staying up there is more difficult than getting there which is why City’s record is killing the cartel home and abroad !!
I agree and we need to make sure that we have a good plan in place and not try to go for broke too soon. Build on sand and it will possibly fall apart. Put solid foundations in place and it can and probably will become sustainable.

Player with the most fouls in the Premier League - would have even more if he played for us.

He's actually 16th when it comes to fouls per 90 minutes and most of his fouls are because of where he's coming from to make the tackle. He rarely fouls when coming in from the front but is very often coming back to recover and it’s usually because somebody else hasn't even tried to tackle.

I will be in Newcastle Wednesday to buy my grandson more NUFC kits, he's outgrown the ones I bought him earlier in the year.

Now stuff those cockneys mate :)

They really ought to coast home into a CL spot now. 8 pts clear of Spurs in 5th place, with a game in hand and a GD 25 better. So, effectively 9 pts ahead. If they fuck that up, they don't deserve the spot.
We've got a game in hand on Arsenal and we have to play them at home, win those two games and we're within 7 points of them which would be incredible.

Some of the kits have been on sale recently so you could get them a bit cheaper than they have been up until recently. Re the cockneys, we'll do our best and the atmosphere should be electric which probably means that they bottle it.

I go to the small shop with the two fellas running it in the city centre, club shops are a right rip off everywhere these days.

Purslow now sticking his biased snout into Newcastle. He “thinks” the premier is now investing them. Need to watch this wanker.

Pleased for Newcastle fans. They are not perfect but they deserve some success.

Next season will be the big one. Money can improve your team but to win something is a very big leap.

They’ve done well this season but teams have had a season to look at them and work them out. It might tricky for them but then again they will strengthen.

Hope they do win something if City fall short.

Ps. They need to cut out their time wasting antics. It’s a bit irritating.

I think the time wasting will go as we bring in better players. We don't do it as much as some people claim and I think we only do it because we generally try to play a high tempo game with so few decent players. We need to take a few minutes from time to time to recover. We don't and can't control games yet like you can so I think our players are probably tired more physically and mentally as they don't get much time to switch off as they're not good enough to.

At the minute you seem to be the lone voice having to take them on by yourselves. Quantity sometimes has a quality of its own as it's easier to have a go at individual clubs rather than a two.

I find this interesting

I was on another forum and was chatting with a Newcastle fan when the first take over failed.

I told him once the take over happens welcome to our world. He wouldnt have it accusing City of cheating etc. I said you will be accused of doing the same, the American owners will try to stop you.

I often wonder what that fan thinks now and has he changed his mind

Unfortunately, every set of fans have their pricks amongst them and we’re no exception. Out of interest, do you remember which forum it was?

Newcastle fans ~(And the club tbh) wont realise the force of the powers-that-be in football and just how much they do influence things, be it through the media or through soft power, changing rules or constructing new ones.

City fans didnt realise it, it took years to realise the bias was real, that reporters would work together to bring down your club, or that etc etc..

Newcastle have yet to go through that, there's so many blockers going to be put in the way of what trhey are trying to achieve but I think the tide is changing as football is undoubtedly becoming more exciting than it was when it was red.
