The Conservative Party

The Bring Back Johnson campaign isn't going away, is it?

When's the parliamentary committee report on him due?

The Bring Back Johnson brigade are trying to trash Gray and now Harmans involvement whilst saying Starmer broke some rules too - they are desperate for the report not to be seen which says to me its pretty damning and they know it

Glorious isn’t it.
They fucked the country over and now they turning inwards and fucking themselves over.
It takes a special kind of incompetence to turn an 80 seat majority, and predictions of 10/15 years of unbroken Tory rule, into this shambolic backstabbing.
I‘m beginning to suspect - just a little bit - that outside of the egregious lies about brexit, they actually had no cohesive policies whatsoever on anything.

All they had was Get Brexit Done - however when Brexit hit the real world and that fell apart they knew they were fucked

Good points but you can't get away from the facts that a lot of brits are work shy who sponge off the state at the tax payers expense, as its easier to live off benefits.
We have created a system where this is rhe case and it discourages work whilst the tax payer who flogs his / hers guts out and gets treated with contempt.
I heard a story last week from a colleague who told me 8 people applied for a warehouse job, agreed interviews and all of them no showed.
I genuinely think some people dont want to work and its about time the government had them doing something.
It's utterly disgraceful

It really says everything about you as a person that upon hearing that your first assumption is that people are just lazy and not that the company is probably doing a shit job of hiring people. If EIGHT people in a row don't show up to your interview... at what point do you start to think "maybe we're the problem"? The whole post is the kind of ignorant take that wouldn't be out of place in Victorian England.

"People don't want to work any more" says company with shit pay, no benefits, awful job prospects and terrible hiring process. I've heard it more times than I can count.

I'm a hiring manager - the job market is very competitive right now. The vast majority of my company's hires are young people 18-23 with zero experience, our rate of interview attendance is about 95%. I've probably conducted 50+ interviews in the last two years. It's down to the company to put a thorough process in place and make offers attractive enough and be transparent on benefits/remuneration so that people actually show up.
