You plan for only one event. They would know how many tickets are available, the points breakdown. Not difficult to create criteria for distribution. Knowing all the parameters it would be simple to do beforehand ready for publication. Shoddy!
 
It's simple. They told people it would be Friday. If it cannot be Friday (for whatever reason), they should then put out a message saying that it is being held up and anticipated to take place next week. But to say it will be Friday and then say nothing at all on Friday is piss-poor. Basic courtesy.

But, let's not shoot them just yet. It is still Friday.

Yeah, agree with all that. Makes it difficult even for people like me who are both in a SC and also on the cup scheme. Obviously I’m confident I will get a ticket, but there’s a group of us and we haven’t got a clue what the best way of doing things is.
 
Fuck me, it's no real wonder the ticket office don't want to deal with the flood of phone calls, it's still Friday for another 6 hours. At least give them an opportunity to miss the promised timeframe before you jump on them for not saying anything
 
Would have been nice if they said it was going to be later in so people didn't spend all day chekcking when supposed to be working
 
Releasing ticket info by COP today is impressively efficient considering we only qualified less than 48 hours ago. In fact, it feels rushed and too quick to me. The sensible thing to do would have been to either say nothing for now or say Monday/Tuesday next week so they have the adequate time to get the details right. By saying ticket details will be released today they’ve put themselves under pressure and shot themselves in the foot.
 
Three of us went to Istanbul in 2009 booked before we got knocked out in the Quarters. Went in the first bar and bumped into a couple of Villa fans who got knocked out in the round before! Stupid Brummies.

Genuine question, but do OSC’s get every ticket they ask for ? Or does the club have some discretion or criteria ?

They would have made the positive assumption beforehand that we'd get through and have had a team on the case in preparation.

Depends really. They normally get 100% of their requests for home and away bar Liverpool United Arsenal and Chelsea away. Even at that they’d get the majority they’d want except for a couple. If they don’t get the required amount they have a draw for them.

Why can’t that info be relayed to us plebs who are also waiting for this info. Piss poor from the club again. Had they had said travel info would be released on Monday then nobody would have moaned but they didn’t. It’s basic stuff to communicate with your customers but yet again the club has fucked up.
