I’m a ST on cup scheme, but also a member of a supporters club. Got a feeling supporters clubs will be the guaranteed way to get a ticket… does that mean I shouldn’t apply to get the code? Does getting a code prevent you from getting a ticket with the supporters club? Cheers

You don’t receive an emails, the link has been posted about ten pages ago. You click on to that and register code from there.

Definitely. I’d say there will be hundreds if not thousands of season ticket holders will most out on this code.

What is preventing the season ticket holder getting the code and purchasing on Uefa’s website in another name? The code is just a generic code to gain access to the sale isn’t it?

I don’t know the ins and outs mate. What I know is that people on high points who go to most games are understandably, generally very reluctant to do anything that there might be any comeback on, if thinking of buying for someone else for a game that they’re not going to.

And just the mention of seeing a passport number is required will put people off when there’s no reward and potentially even a tiny risk.

Looking at the day trip for myself and my 17-year-old daughter, over 2 grand and then the ticket price. We're on the cup scheme and really thought we were definitely going but know I really have to think about it. Really sad as real fans are just being priced out.

Agree with this 100% buddy. I've thrown in the towel at those prices.

I went to the League Cup Semi Final in 1981 at Anfield and was at London Bridge in discussion with Millwall in 1987. I am anticipating being on the players flight and a box at the ground....

I think a lot of Blues saw this coming. Both my lads have booked routes involving days in resorts or Istanbul so its cost a fraction of the official trip.

Me being an oldie thought it would be better waiting for Spikes costs but I am not paying that kind of money if as I fear its the same as the official trip.

Lots of ways to get there if you are creative and have a few days either side which I have.

Tickets will be easier to get at least, my youngest lads only got 7k points on the cup scheme so might have a chance now.

Folk keep saying that they have received their codes, all I got was an email confirmation which included a purchase reference.

I understood that the actual codes required by UEFA will be emailed to us when we reach our individual points threshold, at which point we will enter that code on the UEFA website at point of purchase.

Is that correct?

I'd say so. I think a lot of people are gonna be priced out too, £995 for the day trip seems ridiculous to me.

Add your ticket to that - could be £1500-£1600 this is daylight robbery

There’s no way it’ll go down to matchday members, loads will have already sorted random excursions and routes, internal flights etc. If by some miracle it does I’d hedge bets on category 1 tickets.

Of course it will. They will go on open sale and won’t sell out at that. People aren’t going or spend that kind of money whatever the prize in the middle of a recession.
