Our OSC has over 200 members, many match day going fans for up to 50 years and more.
Next to no fans under 20, most in their 40’s to 70’s.
Our club have tonight applied for 60 tickets, after asking who was interested in applying, we’re unlikely to get them all we’re told.
7 applied for Brentford, we’re unlikely to get any.
No member is guaranteed a ticket for any game, we get an average of 6 tickets for an away game, when many more apply.
Members with high loyalty points have been advised to apply in their own right, as they’ve more chance of getting one, such is the uncertainty of being successful via the OSC.
So, 3 mates and I from the club have booked flights, applied for codes, and await the ticket sale criteria coming out. We’re on the cup scheme.
For Porto 2 years ago, when we had 8000 tickets, my mate and I were successful getting tickets in our own right, but we have a lot of loyalty points.
With 20000 tickets for Istanbul, 18000 season ticket holders on the cup scheme and a further 20000 or so season ticket holders, I still think it’ll go to Citizen members.
Cost is the issue.
Consider around 30% of our club are planning on going, maybe 30% of season ticket holders might be planning the same, could be more of course.
That’s 12000 ish, so those Citizen members hoping to go, may have a chance???

I don't think any sc branches should get any tickets untill they have been on sale to season ticket, cup scheme members,,, yet again it looks like a shambles

The method of distribution should have been communicated better from day1 but we all know comms is not MCFC`s forte. Then I for one would have gone through my OSC to sit with others. I didn`t want a £70 ticket or one of the expensive ones, I was hoping for one of the £156 seats in the corner level 2 or 3. I wish they had told us that we wouldn`t get to chose where we sit and just be issued with a random seat within your chosen seat bracket.
As it is I will apply for my own, hopefully at £156, and then go and stand in the aisles with my OSC.

and knockout should the criteria be changed to people like me getting first dibs, or people with 25,000 points on the cup scheme who have not travelled anywhere this season I know which one I think is fair
 
Just wondering if somebody can help-
I have applied for a code for me and other half through my friend and family link. Both in cup scheme and season ticket holders. When my allocation opens, will I get a link to click to take me to the UEFA site to put my code in? Will this then allow me to buy both tickets together and will they then both go into my UEFA ticket app? If so, how does my other half get their ticket on their phone or do we both use mine? Sorry if I sound thick and thanks for your help.

That’s what I’m debating. Leave bag at hotel, return to city to pick up then taxi straight to hotel? I’ve got a bad gut feel about access from the stadium after the match. That’s probably my biggest barrier to going at the moment.

Not only Citizens, I believe anyone who wants to go will get a ticket. They need to get these on open sale quick so that our new fans around the world get a shot at them.

Whilst I hope this is the case as it's likely the best chance I have at getting one without passing more money than I like to a 3rd party site - this would be nuts.

Look at Madrid, they were snapped up in minutes and not for genuine blues. The problem is people would love to have these just for the sole purpose to sell on. I really hope I get a ticket but I hope it's via a route that doesn't help the touts!

Tomorrow will most likely be taken up dealing with the OSC requests. So I don’t think we we’ll get any info until tomorrow night at earliest and more than likely Thursday :-(
