It’s the get the guys playing to ensure we keep a rhythm argument vs protect the guys for the final.

There are pros and cons in both of course. Appreciate the Brentford and Inter comparisons but not sure how accurate that is? The occasion and the heat in Istanbul will play a huge factor in that game too.

We pushed Liverpool into having to play their best players every game last year and they were not great in the FA cup / Champions League final. Did they run out of steam? Which makes me think resting players might be the better approach?

nothing, i repeat nothing can compete with spurs away. I get shivers even thinking about playing there.

I‘d go full strength, and go full whack at the game.
Element of risk, of course, but I think this is outweighed by the worry of us losing rhythm/momentum and not hitting our levels in the finals.

Sums it up for me that it's all about opinions.
Mine is exactly the opposite to yours.
IMO we go weak ( i.e. Chelsea ) and possibly lose rhythm/momentum but this is more than outweighed by the risk of injury to key players.
Who'd be a Manager hey :)

I don't think the link up play between Liam and Noel will be that good so I would move Noel onto the other side and swap Laporte for Moonchester but otherwise looks OK.

The Edin Dzeko show/5-1 win there was my favourite away days out, apart from the riot damage nearby, lack of places to eat/drink and wasp stings in the dirty away end.
