Champions League Final | Ticket Criteria | SOLD OUT

Thought that might be the case so I already asked them to forward them.
Can't understand why UEFA didn't just transfer 20,000 e tickets to City and Inter and ask them to distribute them. I've no interest in UEFA ticket membership unless City are playing.
I suspect a big part of UEFA wanting to handle the ticket sales themselves rather than passing it on the two clubs as was traditionally how it's been done is because this way they potentially get access to the data of several thousand customers.
It's worth their while doing it even if just a relatively small percentage of ticket buyers tick the box allowing marketing emails from UEFA commercial partners.

Far more are likely to want to go to Wembley, and far more will be able to afford to go to Wembley.
Correct.

But unless you’re in the cup scheme and have enough loyalty points, it won‘t help you get a ticket sooner, as a rule. Arrrgh! Somebody else explain it to him or her please.

Possibly because Liverpool abused the system last year

Oh hello. I’m a member of my local OSC. Been to more games you can imagine. Qualify for EVERY away game with my own points (over 28.5k). Never been to a meeting, never been to a “fundraiser”
Like going away games with locals who aren’t as fortunate as me points wise.
Married, 3 daughters, 2 of which qualify Monday morning (ie more points than you already). Anything else or are you going to cry into your wank sock and dream of supporting City when your local team were better than we were? Wanker!
Been a member myself for over 40 years now, gets a lot of bad press specially by a few on here. There's over 19k OSC members. I remember when in the years in the wilderness our branch use to run 52 seaters to every away game no chance anymore now were good 2 extra tickets don't fill a bus :-(

Evening chaps and chapettes,

After getting over the initial disappointment of seeing the criteria, I’ve perked up a bit. Few beers helped.

Just wondered if any blues knew any good routes to pick up a ticket outside of City/ticket points means? No luck in UEFA ballot or lottery.

Will keep an eye on Twitter, Facebook but any other shouts without paying the obscene 3rd party company prices?

Flights and hotel booked so would rather not miss out on the game!

Wembley, 90,000 capacity.
Ataturk, 75,000 capacity.
There’s more of a chance.

The allocation for each club in the final has (with the obvious exceptions of the pandemic seasons) been 20,000 for some years now irrespective of the venue's capacity. I wouldn't expect Wembley to be any different.
There's a good chance though that more tickets will be available through the public ballot than was the case this year.

But you could argue that for Wembley next year, unless you have 11K plus points, you will still have no chance of getting a ticket on the cup scheme. So not worth joining. Platinum killed a lot of FOCs like me.

I qualify for 2 on Tuesday (match going mate definitely not going) and I’m still in 2 minds if to go or not due to the costs of flights and accommodation.

If anyone ends up with one of their group dropping out and has spare flight and accommodation crop up before Tuesday give us a shout.

Long shot I know but stranger things have happened ‍♂️

If you're on cup scheme with 11k points you think you wouldn't get a ticket that's the definition of pessimism.

TBH matey I'm now optimistic about getting one with just that criteria. Been a ST since 1971, never missed a year apart from n/a covid but 11000? Yep I'm a socialist and any scheme called 'Loyalty' which charges £50 for double is an abomination to me.
We could argue all night about the merits of the platinum obscenity and no credit pre Etihad but that wont get me anywhere. I'm booked up, I'll be there, but I've always said the first big game I dont get a ticket for after all these years, I'm done. If thats this year, Wembley next year, whenever.
Don't mind losing out to people who go to all the away games, ST holders also in cup schemes, but to someone who doesn't turn up regularly as we do and pays extra or pays a tenner for SC membership (Isn't one in Preston anymore) is just unjustifiable.
See you on the Bosphorus.

Wasn’t happy paying the extra £50 myself it was just an away game tax but if you want to go what do you do, same as cup schemes but as I went to every home anyway weren’t really an issue.

Platinum is the difference between having 19k or 28k now for some. We were not given an option if we wanted to go away. When it came in it was the price of 1 away ticket, most were at least £40 by then, and most trips would end up £100/£150.

In some ways it could pay for itself if it meant getting a £60 ticket as opposed to a £600 one. I was never a fan of the idea, bit it was small money for away regulars and a no brainer.

I don’t think the club have ever said you are guaranteed a cup final ticket.

My 23,000+ points aside, I knew I was going to get a CL cup final ticket today as I am in the cup scheme. I could relax once I got my code.

Signed up again next season.
Also a small matter of watching as many minutes as you can of the best Manchester City team in history and one of the top five/ten football teams ever in history. Make hay while the sun shines!

I was on the UEFA batch in Porto in their 'neutral area' (Chelsea end). This looks very similar to what I had through the UEFA app, checked against the COVID pass and passport (twice). Old man went on the city paper tickets dished out on the club flights, never really spoke to him about his entry experience. We don't really talk about that game much.

It's anybodys guess what 'customer' level detail UEFA put on this years final E-Tickets. It might be just the details of a lead purchaser (they will have name and passport no) or they may ask for extra details ahead of the time for those making multiple ticket purchases like some blues have mentioned today. Always the possibility of names being attached to the access codes via exchange of data between city and UEFA (although not sure how feasible this is with GDPR (wouldn't put it past UEFA though as they'll be grabbing more 'customer' details for their own means)).

We'll probably know with the West Ham tickets ahead of our own but likely not until the week of the final when they start to port into the apps. Anyones guess really.

You've more chance getting a final ticket than not being in the cup scheme that's for sure.
