Fair enough, I‘ve somewhat resigned myself to Bellingham going to Madrid because it’s clear we are his second choice so it’s up to Madrid as to whether they pay the fee.

My big concern with Bernardo and Gundogan is kicking the can down the road. Both of them plus KDB’s age means a midfield overhaul over the next few seasons. If both Bernardo and Gundogan stay brilliant but we still need another 8 otherwise we are looking at potentially falling off a cliff in midfield in a few years time.

We know Bernardo wants to go, I think he’ll end up in PSG because that’s the easiest deal to do. They need to replace Messi, Mbappe is his mate and Bernardo’s missus is due a baby. I think his people are being professional enough to keep everything low volume until after the champions league final.

Pretty much spot on and where I also sit.

United made the mistake of holding on to their core names for too long and have still not recovered from no succession planning for Keane, Scholes and Ferdinand.

I think we should let Gundo go, much as I love what he has done for us, just because of his age and we need someone else with legs if we are to continue looking to Kev?

I think City should aim to keep all three of gundo, bernardo and kdb, and start adding to the overhaul now, one summer at a time. We all know the new players usually need a full season to adapt.

Plus, there aren't any top level talents out there to replace the level the those three brings to City. It's a really hard summer ahead if both Bernardo and Gundo decides to leave, because the markets is shite atm.

Just saw the news that Felix and Kulu ain't staying at Chelsea and Spurs. Both would do bits at City. Would also give Foden the option to drop into a 8 role

Kulusevski be ideal for us if mahrez was to go.. hes only 23 lots go improve on and a decent year and a half in prem.

Yup...i would keep Gundogan (and Bernardo) and still sign a "replacement". IF we win the CL don't we have the club world cup to deal with next season? The season after, the CL will be expanded which means increased amount of games. I know Pep likes to work with a "small" squad. But i think this summer might be the perfect time to increase the size of the squad.

Now is the time to start succecion planning. Love Gundo but let him leave and sign someone younger. Cant keep them all due to sentiment and then be where she scouse are now needing a complete midfield overhaul

I wonder if Felix would be of interest to us, similar position to Alvarez but may be a long term David Silva type for us, finds space but doesn’t score enough for a striker.

I would be keen to move Phillips on as he has been the worst but of Pep’s reign. Not the worst player but had the least impact of any player. The likes of Nolito and Bravo weren’t great but had their moments. He has shown almost nothing positive. Move him on and use the Bellingham money on Caicedo.

I’d keep Gundogan and let him work with McAtee.

Move Bernardo, Laporte, Gomez and Phillips, loan out Pamer and bring in Caicedo, Gvardiol, Guerreiro, Felix and bring back McAtee. Gives us a lot of flexibility.

Sure but with who? Two new midfielders that both probably needs a year to settle? I'd rather keep those we got and stack in two new midfielders that learn on the job, then release both Bernardo and Gundo next summer with the two already in the system. Plus, if city win the CL they'll have to play 4-5 more games and fly away next season. With out current squad, that wont work, theyll run out of fumes early. No world cup to pause it.

If City are making changes now, it cannot be too rash. they need to take their time and do it properly, unlike the rags did.

Things aren't as bad as they seem Phil in a year or so will replace Kev and Jack is made to drop inside, I also feel Rico will be a great no 10 or 8 add one other and away we go.

I think we need to be realistic and expect Bernado to leave. I’d love him to stay but if he wants to go and we get an offer which teams would be stupid not to bid let him go.

Gundo is great, whether he stays or not we need another midfielder because we can’t rely on him and KBD as well as Rodri playing all his minutes because of Phillips. If he goes we certainly need two players.

Of course we are in a great position look how it’s going. It’s just important to plan ahead and not be left to struggle in a few years. We are where we are because city plan well, I’m sure it will continue
