Hats of to Chelsea if they can get 100 million out of liverpool for those two. Two players who can hardly get in this chelsea team who are languishing around mid table. One thing chelsea always seem to be good at is extracting top fee for pretty mediocre players.

They've been sold a lie. They have never been in the race (if you think £80m was gonna cut it)

They've known all along the figures involved and also being told the lad was more than happy to come to City.

This is just the fall out from expecting a new owner with big money to come in and finding out the market wasn't interested.

As soon as United said they would be up for sale, Liverpool were fucked.

It's amazing how far they've allowed themselves to drop when you consider their form over the past few years. To allow that midfield to stay as it is with no fresh reinforcements is ridiculous really.

And they know that hence blagging their own fans it was for the benefit of saving up for Bellingham knowing full well they can't/won't go to the figure Dortmund will have set months ago.

Fabinho is gone (despite only being 29!?). Henderson is what he always has been, a long-ball workhorse and they still have James Milner on their books getting minutes every week. Laughable really. Great. But still laughable.

Ain't life great, just watching sly sports news, explaining why the dippers won't be buying Jude, seems expected transfer fee is too excessive compared to their biggest fees, nunez £85m, vvd £75m (most expensive defender?) and alisson £75m (most expensive goalkeeper). Presenter said 'So does the dippers cooling their interest open the door for real madrid' - cut to spanish journalist, no mention of little old citeh
