When City matters Alex posted his info last night, I had hope that it’ll go down to my points (non cup scheme) and I got giddy that I’d be going. Booked a holiday to turkey covering the final, was hoping to get a ticket but given we’ve only got 12’000 to divvy up and I’m not on the cup scheme, I’ve got nay chance. Was gonna fly up with the lad & leave the fam to enjoy the sun, even with internal flights very cheap, given the price of tickets that could possibly be available, it was gonna be a stretch. So I’ve officially tapped out today, the wife has rung the holiday company to change our holiday to somewhere in Majorca stating “I never wanted to go their in the first place” I just laughed, so it looks like we’ll be watching somewhere in Cala Millor rigged out in blue carrying a giant banana

Qualified yesterday. Not going. Too hypocritical to boo the uefa song then stump up €400 to them for a ticket.

Shit stadium Miles from town, with a running track in a country awaiting a response to the election which is a significant risk imo. An event ending gone midnight and a very unlikely bus shuttle through hours of notoriously bad traffic.

So all in all, too much palava. Gone are the days where I'd walk over coals to see City in spite of everything.

Actually seriously worth getting informed about that. There must be Milan-friendly bars and Inter-friendly bars in the city. You could find yourself being stood drinks for the rest of the evening if City win.
