How happy I am about Kovacic really depends on what he is. If he’s a replacement for either Bernardo or Gundogan then it’s incredibly underwhelming in terms of the drop off in quality and also his age. But if he’s not the direct replacement for either of those players and is instead the rotation option that Phillips was meant to be, then it’s absolutely fantastic. At this stage, we don’t know how it’s going to pan out.

Yeah, Kovacic, Guerreiro and Gvardiol won't take that much time to finish once the final is done... Anyone bigger than that would take time though, but that depends on sales.

If Pep can turn Guerreiro into a defensive monster like he did with Akanji then Pep really is a miracle worker. Guerreiro is amazing going forward but a little bit of a liability defensively

We have probably been working on these deals since January so the groundwork has probably been done just the negotiations between the club in price and add ons.

No one said he is, per ce, but it’s more suggesting he is than City signing an extra body to rotate with kdb gundo and bernardo. Hope im wrong though

This would make sense in my view, he has good premiership & champs league experience, is not silly money & considering his age & injury record probably ok with being rotated with KdB, Gundogan & Bernardo
We will not find out if anyone is leaving until after both finals now so let’s enjoy the ride whilst they are here for now
