Don't see many great alternatives to Bellingham on the market. I don't think Rice is a similar type. Kovacic adds ball retention, we need a creative midfielder.
Certainly, but good journalists usually make sure they are reporting on stuff received from credible people. I think this guy deserves the benefit of the doubt. His Liverpool scoop was pretty significant. All depends who his sources are
lots of options for that about. Veiga, Szoboslai, Maddison, move Foden etc and grab a winger instead.Don't see many great alternatives to Bellingham on the market. I don't think Rice is a similar type. Kovacic adds ball retention, we need a creative midfielder.
He just signed for Real, so must be something elseHas to be Jude!
I disagree. I think gundo will stay but Bernardo will leave. Kovacic is a very good replacement for Bernardo as a cm As they share similar strengths. We will need a winger as I don’t think you replace Bernardo with just one player as his skill set is so unique.Don't see many great alternatives to Bellingham on the market. God please noWatch it be Maddison.
Kovacic isn’t replacing anyone. City will sign two cms imoI disagree. I think gundo will stay but Bernardo will leave. We have kdb, foden and Alvarez who can all play just behind haaland So I don’t see that as a position of need.
If gundogan leaves I would target rice
Not sure I see it that way but I hope you’re right. I do think we will sign two players to replace bernardo though - one a cm and one a rwKovacic isn’t replacing anyone. City will sign two cms imo
I think it more to do with Jude wanting to go there. For me I rather have players that are fully committed to joining.Mad how clubs bend over for Real when clearly City can do them more good in terms of financial dealings
To be fair we've had Haaland, Gundogan , Akanji off them for about £85 MillMad how clubs bend over for Real when clearly City can do them more good in terms of financial dealings
I think you downplay Real Madrid there way too much. They've got one of the best managers ever in charge. They've got some ageing players but also some very good young ones who they've recruited over previous years, and they'll continue to invest. It's a risky move for Bellingham. We'd be easier to say yes to. Back to England, closer to family and at a club that will allow him to move on if he ever wants to. He's backed himself to go and do it at Real Madrid now and only deserves credit for that really. I'd loved to have had him here, but he's not choosing between us and the rags. Real Madrid can offer a lot of what we can.
