Utter nonsenseAgain i will say Whoscored are fairly accurate so,
Kovacic rated 22nd best player at Chelsea, just so we know what we are getting for £40 million and probably£150,000 wages, add to that 25 goals in 499 matches and you get an expensive version of Phillips, no wonder Chelsea are desperate to get rid.

Think this will be a very good signing if City get it over the line. experience and bottom line is Pep is a huge fan of his, that’s enough for me.
Only concern, who is he replacing as I don’t believe it’s purely for depth.
Certainly possible. Phillips lack of game time, even for the ‘first season under Pep’ was alarmingly low.I still think it’s for Phillips. He was bought to be back up for Rodri who could play the Bernardo box to box if needs be but he hasn’t fitted at all. Pep doesn’t trust him it’s clear.
I know he’s apparently turned down Newcastle as he wants to stay but I think both Pep and Southgate will tell him to move on (for different reasons obviously).
