Cancelo is made for the prima Donna team.
I was reading something about Mbappe and Real Madrid yesterday, in response to suggestions he'd cause problems wherever he went with his ego. They pointed out that Madrid are pretty relaxed about it, as having a big ego isn't something new there, and they've not done too badly in the past.

If they took Cancelo, it will be interesting. Presumably, he will take the left back position, mainly. If that releases Camavinga, they will be stronger, but the battle for central midfield could be damaging as they have a lot of very strong, athletic, and young players, who will all want to play. In my view, they also wouldn't have much variety there: for every Yaya or Rodri, you need a Gundo or a D.Silva.
They signed new left back Fran Garcia, Cancelo would be ideal for them.
I think they want to sell Mendy.

according to exwesthamemployee its arsenal and nobody else for rice

Think that’s fine. Nail kovavic, veiga for 80m or whatever. Gvaridol and a winger. Would be over the moon with that window.

Yeah, combined. And fullback is a good shout. Really have no idea what the lean would be there. Haven’t seen a single fb link but guess some of it depends on walker.

Manchester City are shopping for a winger, although do not expect a player of the Leroy Sane/Rafael Leao mould. Pep Guardiola prefers wide men who want the ball in to feet and cherish possession that little bit more. (Sam Lee, The Athletic)

What kind of player is this Viega? Does he have the potential to be one of the best in the world? Technically gifted, creative? Is he fast or slow, does he have good vision on the pitch? And most importantly, what is his playing intelligence, is he a smart or dumb player?

It's hard to argue that we're getting the better end of this deal as it stands IMO.

29 with one year left on his deal all while coming off a season that he barely featured in.

Why not spend that money on a younger player( Gabriel Veiga, Manu Kone, etc) who can develop all while bringing some legs into our midfield?

If this is true, surprised we’re not in for Kulusevski

Just turned 29 the other week though mate? Could be prime years and 4 years ish younger than Gundo who everyone is desperate to stay?

He played 37 games for Chelsea this season. I wouldn’t call that “barely featured”.

I like Kulusevski but I did notice this second half of season teams seemed to have worked him out and he was barely visible in games I saw. Tbf Spurs were shite in general I guess.
