in many ways I'd agree - had he bought or even just read about the diet pills than rather taking them and it came out I would not be surprised

Liars are liars. They tell fibs, and their imagination works overtime when a keyboard is in front of them. He's written copious amounts of demonstrable garbage in his life, so I will not be reading anything he writes again.

It might be true, but he's cried wolf too much for me. I don't believe him.

I always remember the story about when he was motoring correspondent for GQ ( I think ) and when he got cars delivered he would tell the driver to "just leave it outside". As happens in such instances the driver would do as told and they record the odometer mileage reading. A few days later they would pick the vehicle up and take the reading and the mileage often was unchanged yet he managed to submit a 2000 word article about the car - its handling - performance etc - all made up of course and peppered with political references. He was known to be a poor reviewer ( unsurprisingly ) and because he just left cars where they stood he cost his employers thousands of pounds in parking tickets. As you say always a liar.

Two years ago Starmer goaded Johnson and he could not help himself making statements which eventually made him fall into the trap that Johnson set. I remember posting at the time thats what you get when you put a clever experienced lawyer who can handle an adversarial questioning up against a showman who runs off at the mouth............ you give them the opportunity to drop themselves in it knowing its going to form part of the summing up at the end and its worked

 
There is potentially a more sinister side to Johnson than the laugh a minute character so beloved by tory members and his supporters in parliament.

watched that earlier - as much as I hate the guy there has to be proof of him having done something - Phil refers to possible breaches in the future really BUT on the Russian links and the ducking off without security to a Lebvedev bunga-bunga party and coming back the next day clearly hung over the expectation he has at some time been compromised cannot be discounted. The number of honey traps he could have fallen into is a similar worry. Again its something a new non-Tory Govt should launch an inquiry into if they want to make sure he is banished from politics in the UK.

We took so much control back from the EU that we now have an EU border dividing our country BECAUSE Bozo had an "oven ready deal" that he signed without ever putting it in the oven so that it wasn't even half baked, but totally raw.
