I think one thing is being overlooked, unless it has been mentioned....He's 22 and not yet used to playing 50+ games a season, he's probably tired at this stage.

But he's the beat goalscorer in the world. You can't judge him on the two finals, they were games with limited opportunities to bag goals. Some games are just not set up to serve pure goalscorers and chances.

I have no doubt that from a very personal point of view Haaland won’t be delighted with our recent games. No goals in either Real game, United, last night. With quite a lot of chances missed.

But on a wider level, he won’t care. And now isn’t the time to focus on it I guess.

The Golden Boot is awarded to the top goalscorer across all European top tiers. To rank the goal scorers, the number of goals is multiplied by a 'strength factor' for the league.
Some leagues in Europe is not finished yet, but Haaland are far ahead of the pack.
Intetestingly, Kane has done really well also and holds the second place, ahead of Mbappe.

Just been following the text commentary of the Norway v Scotland game and it has contained the usual BBC shite with one snide comment about HAALAND followed by another! Mind, what do I expect from those bastards!

We forget how young he is and how much better he can still become, not in terms of goal scoring, but in terms of his overall first touch when the ball is played into him and his recognition that he needs to adapt his game and movement to bring others into the game. For instance, when de Bruyne has the ball it makes perfect sense to move away from him and to seek space behind and a goal-scoring opportunity, yet other players don't have the Belgian's vision or range, so they need him to drop closer and act as the wall to pass off from. If we are bringing different attacking players in next season to replace departures, then Haaland will also have to learn their strengths and weaknesses and adapt his game accordingly. Much will be made in the media if his numbers drop next year, which they may well do, but I'll be more interested in seeing his overall development as a footballer.
