He's everything we hoped for and more. Smashed the PL scorers in his first season whilst playing a pivotal part in our winning the FA Cup and getting to the CL final. Here's to many more seasons watching Haaland in sky blue.

Interesting article on playing against Haaland in The Athletic.

They pick up the obvious points - him being good at everything, and the fact that you have to neglect other players because he needs so much attention, but there was another interesting point about his "few touches" game.

The defenders said that he makes runs all the time when the ball isn't played, and every one frightens them a little bit more. Rather than it being a problem, frustrating Haaland, each one chips away at the defenders confidence, as they know he can beat them with ease. As the game goes on, they're second guessing themselves, and ultimately they often end up creating the space he needs. By the time the ball comes to him, they are already beaten.

Henry was watching City train yesterday. He'll have had a word with Haaland and he'll go and break this barren spell on Saturday night.

The way they'll defend on Saturday, I think we'll need him in the air to get on the end of crosses.

It'll be the Chelsea final take 2, except this time we have a target man.

Messi to Miami. Would they give the Ballon D’Or to somebody playing in MLS?

I’m not so sure. Win the CL and Erling is a shoe-in. Surely…

He needs to bring out the acrobatics (and the dark arts).

Honest question but where does Haaland rank in our history of strikers if we win on Saturday because he would’ve done something Aguero couldn’t. Although the Aguero goal has a massive impact in this debate.

Wait till he play ten years (hopefully) for us then we judge him where he will be rank at.

It was already posted in the media thread but deserves a repost here. A little bit of insight from Erling on how he plays. If I was an opposition player or manager I'd be chilled by the delight he takes in scoring tap ins. He just loves a goal

We don’t cross enough for me I know it’s pep way because you cross a ball it’s 50/50 if we win the ball but with Haaland in there we should be getting it in the box
