I really don’t get that though as he will never ever be first choice at City, he will only be a squad player and rotation for Rodders.

He would start every week at Newcastle and be playing in the Champs League, he’d be mad to not be keen.

Maybe he doesn't want to be seen as a failure, can't blame him for enjoying life at City?

Feel like if some of the outgoings and the rumoured incomings are true we are going to be mighty narrow next season, Mahrez, Walker, Gomez all potentially going, Cancelo gone, Foden moving central... We've seen what a slog games can be if we can't get balls through the middle to Haaland, don't see why we lose all width as well as it makes us very one dimensional imo

Probably one of the most disappointing transfer chats in a long while in terms of rumours and also TH leaving..Gvardiol sure looks a great prospect especially if Laporte goes.. but we do seem well stacked up in defence and whilst LB/RB surely need investment, am sure Pep has plans/new tactics.. Kovacic, fine, hardly earth shattering.
Actually can not help but think this window will define us for a while..Pep's players can take a season to bed in so if he stays for 2 more years, then maybe they will perforrm well in his last season (obviously hope Pep stays longer !!).Have no idea if the PL shite is putting players off too. Sane in his peak was immense, however, he is not quite the same player as he was when he was at City imo. We are well stocked for the LW position, albeit I am sure I have read that we have been monitoring Gnonto at Leeds.

Surely losing the width as they want to go. I'm sure width will be addressed with new signings.
