I think if we have a big drop off in the future (and that's a big if). The blame has to be laid on the board. A part of me believes that Pep's genius (and him being the best manager of all time) has covered some of the flaws in our recruitment.
Wonder if there's another club in the world where 2 weeks after winning the treble they would have fans complaining about the quality of the squad

That’s truly a terrible list. It’s like they put Kev first, and then placed the other 19 randomly
Disagree. We've got 4 in it. No one's going to argue with Modric, Kimmich, de Jong, Pedri, Bellingham, Gavi etc

Anyway my point was who wasn't in the list.

Should sack them all and get the Norwich scarves out if you ask me.

Deary me. Some people actually believe the best team in English football history is all down to one men who overcame a woefully run organization behind him.

Can you name for me a squad of players who you would rather have than City's? Any squad?

Some people just don't deserve the success that City have achieved in the last few years.

Don't get me wrong, i think our recruitment is good, but not without flaws. How many managers other than Pep would have won the league with Gundogan as our top scorer? Same with the full-back situation...where Pep has continued to find solutions (Delph, Zinchenko, Ake, AKanji etc...). This is what i meant.

No idea what the plan seems to be. Gone from Bellingham and rice to this young Spanish fella who has a totally different profile. Doesn’t start for Spain u21s so not convinced he will play many games for us.

Veiga is the kind of attacking midfielder who doesnt help you control the midfield, less Gundogan and more KdB-like.

That being said its not like he is that good in that role, and our academy has players like Bobb or McAtee that Id rsther give that chance or role too.

Foden and Grealish rarely start for England either, and up until recently Rodri wasn’t a regular starter for Spain. Ederson is 2nd choice for Brazil. Kurt Zouma used to keep Laporte out of the France squad.

Whilst I can’t claim to have seen this kid play, he does look good technically on the videos I’ve watched (who doesn’t) but I wouldn’t read too much into his appearances at U21 level

Bellingham rated higher than Rodri, Kimmich, Kroos, Frenkie, Gundo, Valverde and Bernardo is laughable. Should move down at least 15 spots
That may be true, but I looked at it to see if there are any players who could be our plan C.

Did we get Kovacic yet?

Please anyone find me ever saying a deal for Bellingham was done, that would also be grand?

Even said Rice was the back-up before Ornstein reported our moves.

Gvardiol, let's see...

City clearly had a valuation and didn't want to match Arsenal's offer.
Don’t worry about the haters mate. Anyone calling you out over city not buying this or that player is obviously mentally redundant and not worth the time.

Next he'll say Aluko makes more sense than tolmie..
