It makes sense. Hopefully we win it all as a fitting send off.

Mahrez is Mahrez, Palmer needs a loan and Foden may have minutes in the middle. So a right winger makes sense im just undecided of it makes sense for this to be a big signing also or a player that will develop over the next year or so.

Mahrez’s form is too patchy and with Bernardo likely leaving I think we need someone who can contribute right now, but also of an age where they can improve a lot. We need a bit of both.

Pep’s comments after Mahrez’s hat trick in the semi final were interesting. He said he knows he “has lost the battle to make him understand how important the group is.” Considering Pep’s no sad faces credo it makes me wonder if Mahrez is on the way out. In any event his form since the semi final has been awful.
 
Would personally love a right-footed right winger. Not just a replacement of what we've had.
