I do not subscribe to the "we are moving too slow" hysteria. That said, players on holiday seems an unsatisfactory excuse in my opinion. Because byhere is the obvious question one can ask, are the players for other teams "who are strengthening whil moving out their surplus players" not on holidays? Since they are too. It's unconvincing to say we are moving slow because of holidays that don't seem to affect other teams. But the Deliverance types on here keep crying about Txiki.
They can't all be wrong, can they?

We are moving slow because we have different constraints than other teams. Sounds a better answer to me.
Assuming clubs jsut schedule further talks for 9am the next morning as well. Getting space in a CEO/CFO levels diary is a nightmareYeah, people being on holiday (players, DoFs and moneymen) is the most ridiculous and unbelievable reasoning.
Samuel Edozie?I wonder how will the academy, and English football in general, adapt to no longer having " foreign" footballers in them
e.g. The 4 lads we sold to Southampton last season, Lavia, Bazunu, Edozie, Larios would not have been able to have played for our academy in the current rules.

would love us to snap up this lad, regardless of bernie. could play all over the front lines

Do they go without phones ? Work always seem to get hold of me over nothing - let alone multi-million £ career changing deals.Players being on holidays is the reason things are moving slow. Most will return within the next week or so.
Things will kick off soon.

There are restrictions on U21 foreign players signed by premier league clubs too.It will get worse
The disappointing thing about that table is that for all the successes of our Academy - we still run three light on the Club Trained players. We need at least one those still on the B-List to be a regular player by the time he turns 22 and we need one or two of those Buy Backs to come to fruition to give us more flexibility in squad re-building.View attachment 85879
Here's where we sit TODAY! (before people start theorising on potentials).
1 space.
you can move any of hte B list to the club trained, doesnt really make a difference to the limitsThe disappointing thing about that table is that for all the successes of our Academy - we still run three light on the Club Trained players. Thank you Brexit for nothing. There are restrictions on U21 foreign players signed by premier league clubs too.
"Clubs will be limited to signing no more than three overseas players under the age of 21 in any single transfer window and a total of no more than six per season"
