Pep is disappointed, but suspect he doesn't want any passengers.

Agents know we can't afford to hang around.

My best guess is Walker, Cancelo, Bernie, Mahrez and Laporte will all be gone.

Could be an exciting few weeks of the window but worried about the impact it has on performances early on?

Out of that list, I only care about Bernie.
FDJ would ease the pain oh and don’t forget Kimich :)

Really didn't think after a treble win we would lose what seems to be 4-5 players, I find that a tad disappointing. Where is the desire from Mahrez, Walker and co to go again?. no way we will replace that 4-5 players. Looks like Palmer, Mcatee will be playing a lot more, question is are they good enough though?
Honestly, you can’t criticise players for wanting a new challenge instead of going again at City. It’s the very reason why we’re only the 2nd team to three-peat the PL and why nobody has done 4 in a row. The hunger goes. If anything they are showing MORE desire by leaving. They could stay and be comfortable but they want to feel that fire again and not just coast without motivation. Fair play to them. Just fuck off in time for us to replace you all!

People were saying last season was a transition year until after the world cup, turned out to be a transition half a season. Don’t think this will take much transitioning at all just a couple of months ,if that
But you can't get rid of 5 players ìts looking like and not worry a bit

And it's not like me to flap, either!

Pep can be disappointed, but I would be asking some serious fucking questions if we are being caught on the hop by any of these guys, barring Walker?

Txiki has kept his powder dry so far, I just hope it's with good reason.

The Declan Rice bid still confuses the shit out of me.

I think the Declan Rice bid was the highest we were prepared to offer. If we had been successful, then happy days. If we weren’t, at least we had forced Arsenal’s hand. Win Win.

I raised that point last week and again now, I find this transfer window rather bewildering to be honest.
I sense a season of transition next season now. Feels like we are missing an opportunity though again to kick on a bit more.

Bit early to be thinking like that imo. It could be the impetus to go again .

It is concerning that appears a few players want out.

But the majority of them are coming to the end of their careers. An aging team with hunger issues is not a good recipe.

Yes it would be good for exits to happen in phases but it Pep doesn’t want players with a eye on the exit door or we don’t want to lose from funds with FFP in mind then they go now.

Players come and go. Pep is the key. Unless I hear directly from him or from a really reliable source that we have real problems. Then I will trust the club.

Yep, on the first day back.
Looks like agents haven't informed Pep, players have.
Read tolmie's post again

Al Ahli have already bid for Mahrez, Bayern have confirmed interest in Walker saying that he wanted to speak with Pep yesterday, Cancelo was out the door already, Bernardo has been banging on about leaving for 2 years and Laporte was told he could go this summer a few months ago.

How is Pep surprised that any of these players have told him they want to leave?

Im not worried at all.Only starters were Gundogan who we’ve replaced and Bernardo who I think Foden will replace. So we will need to replace ‘Foden’ , Walker , Laporte Mahrez, Cancelo. Don’t think it will be that difficult, Gvardiol replaces 2 of them and non of the replacements need to be starting from the get go.

Because Olive from the canteen has decided to go to Everton for better catering skills.

Source? I don't see any mention of it anywhere else, even in the viper's nest that is twitter. So, who told you?
The same person who told him we were signing Henderson on a freebie, Bellingham, and Enzo Fernandez was going Newcastle. Dare say he's getting dangerously close to WUM status.
