Lawwell does not have the final say on finances and I’ll point you back to that telling rare interview with DD. When it was put to him the support wanted more money invested his reply was along the lines of..stuff them. If they want more money spent let them spend their money. He was only going to invest enough to keep them ahead in Scotland and anything they got through Europe was a bonus. Chasing European glory whilst playing in Scotland was not an option.

Very few clubs with modern stadium have restricted views in the way Celtic have in that corner. It’s a design fault and the views are a disgrace for many away supporters
The away section at Ibrox have excellent, uninterrupted views of the pitch. In fact the opposite corner at Copland / Sandy Jardine stands was used for hospitality seats for a while
