Foden was our fourth top goalscorer with 15. Alvarez was our second behind Haaland with 17

It just makes sense doesn’t it. 20+ goals is a big output you just can expect Foden Alvarez palmer etc to replace those goals on top of what they score anyway.

Even Mahrez didn't average that during his time at City. We'll miss Mahrez's contribution but Foden and Alvarez are capable to step up so don't really need to panic buy.

It definitely makes sense mate but the profile to fit into this team and the quality required is so high that the pool of players is small? We also don’t like to go too high on a couple of players? We went big on Grealish as we knew we were selling £60m odd of academy players and fringe players? Was also a release clause with Jack as well.

I wouldn’t say it’s panic buy it’s relieving pressure off the forwards.

He'd only need to match 7 that Mahrez scored to change games, most of his goals last season were when the game was done.

Arguably the case - but last year was still an outlier even for City.

I said you have to look Juventus of why we are very fortunate to have probably the best medic club in the world.

One injury case in Juventus then almost certainly the player will almost got out for months even season, worse their returning injured player will get suddenly injured again. This is the showcase how bad they treated and managed their injury player compared to our.

Our club world class medical staff and facility certainly do make an impact and not just an outlier for one season.

Don't understand this obsession with "replacing goals" like for like. A pile of goals were effectively meaningless and had they not been scored we'd have still won games and trophies. Finding slightly better output from some players is certainly required but ultimately very realistic.

Exactly its not as easy as just say well we need X goals. We just need players in the right moments.
