You’ve answered your own question there with premier league top scorers, this was a glorified friendly so we weren’t too bothered about scoring a second goal.

City should have had a penalty.
Ball came across from a corner Haaland couldn't jump as he was being held, as was another of our players.
Atwell wasn't very good today!
 
The FA have just announced that the CS Plate Final will be played at an out of town, leaky theme park and tourist distraction next season.

Kick orff will be at 11am.

Manchester City, the current TREBLE WINNERS, will be invited to participate, irrespective of our finishing position, and so will Arse Bottom Tarquins who will probably finish the PL Competition as 'losers' with nothing.....AGAIN !!

PS....Only two sides of the tourist distraction theme park will be open due to vermin infections in one side and large parts of the roof missing in 'tother.

Pre match entertainment will include -

1) An alleged goalkeeper being chipped from the half way line.

2) How to get all 2 of your feet mixed up and miss an open goole,starring Peggy Mount.

3) Guess how far the ball has to be over the line before being disallowed as a goal.

4) How many years before the take over is complete.

and finally.

5) Family time at the Zoo with a lap of laughter to include Bacon Face, Phil the Face,Gargoyle Garry & Steptoe, Ratty, Fatty & Twatty,,Bucket Hat Pat, CowPat and last but not fast Zebra pants and his huge army of 13 Mega Store blockers.

Obvs disappointed we didn’t win, but it was Interesting to see the current state of both teams and the reaction to what is essentially a pre-season friendly. Arsenal looked like they were at full pelt - and all they can do is try to limit us, rather than attacking. We are not ready yet obviously, but even not at full gas, still looked comfortable.

I think it bodes well for the season. Arsenal will find the impact of the champions league challenging and playing with their level of inexperienced emotion must be draining. With no Euro football, Chelsea may end up being dangerous.
