Couldn't get excited about the Charity shield or whatever its called these days. But the old belly tingles are at full tilt for this one. Just get 3 points regardless of performance. C'MON CITY !!
 
Gvardiol instead of Akanji and Foden instead of Alvarez, please. Get KDB on the pitch in the 2nd half if we need goals.
But I'm confident that we'll win comfortably!
 
I'd keep Alvarez and Haaland up front together. Both need to get back to scoring soon.

Out of condition? Admittedly I was in the 30th row of the third tier but he looked sharp and energetic to me, and he was asking the other players to close arsenal players down as much as he was. Mind you I was reading in here he was off the pace second half of last season including when he absolutely destroyed arsenal away and home

Seems too soon, the football authorities need to consider giving the elite teams longer to rest. It might be a draw, then we have another meaningless friendly to help the Uefa coffers, and then Newcastle. Ridiculous!
 
Probably already been mentioned but for anyone with Sky tv but not Sky Sports, it looks like Sky are showing this broadcast on their “free” channel 106, Sky Showcase, 6.30pm - 10.15pm

i think some fail to see that we play 4 defenders not 3.

Yes stones will do into midfield when in possession but when defending were a 4 with rodri in front.
