Could be a negotiating tactic by West HamSky now reporting West Ham will not sell because there isnt time to get a replacement.

Can't see them losing Paqueta on top of Rice.

Because he’s average on a good day. Two half decent free kicks a season and a lot of running about in a relegated team don’t make a £40m player.

The difference in quality is reflected by the difference in price. No disrespect to Ward-Prowse.
harry maguire is definitely world class, i just dont know which world thats in ;)I do aswell. As i say, there's not many players i would deem World Class - for me that's playing for a top 1-2 side in the PL... Rice and Paqueta both would fit in, and Harry Maguire of course :)

Paqueta is a very good player IMO and it’s not his fault the market is truly fucked.
That said, West Ham’s Papa John’s European Trophy hasn’t half papered over some cracks. Don’t forget they were in a relegation battle until the final few games of the season.
That is despite have a so called world class midfield paring of Paqueta and Rice who are valued at over £180 million.

We'll know all about him, and will have for years.Yeah i get that the market is screwed, but to splash this much money on player who i'd be very suprised was even on our radar until the last few days feels almost a panic buy of the back of sunday.
Maybe the decision to actually strengthen has been made recently but the list of potential players will already be there.
