Adrian Durham defending our view on fixtures on Talkshite.

Makes a really good point that in the CL/Charity Shield and Super Cup were representing the Premier League as a whole and their thank you is to mess up players fitness/recovery rates.
I remember utd getting out of the fa cup third round when they played the world club cup... saf argument was that utd were representing the PL at this event so the pl should help them out and they did to a degree.

Rags supporters over can see nothing wrong with that horrible man greenwood.so how would dads on here think?
MG is clearly a **** and I sure as shit am not going to fall out with a fellow blue over him but...

I know you're coming from the right sort of place. And you're making a mistake that I used to make myself until the bleeding obvious was poined out to me, so please don't take what I am about to say as finger-wagging admonishment but rather as the friendly advice that it is intended to be.

Just because a man has a daughter/ sister/ girlfriend/ wife... it doesn't give him any sort of special privilege of endorsing women’s rights.

Assaults on women's are not suddenly or somehow more important/ concerning because the men in their lives are laterally affected. (I suspect you didn't mean to imply that was the case but every time a man says, "what if it was your sister/mum/ daughter etc.." that, often with the best will in the word, is exactly what he is doing (and, as Ibsay, I've done it myself in the past, so not judging you)).

In short, women's rights don't need mens' endorsement. The maths are simple: women make up more than half the species. Women's rights are human rights.

Anyway, back on topic: MG is still clearly a **** (worth saying twice).
And don't even get me started on United floating the idea that the final say on his return would somehow be dependent on their women’s team. As disgusting PR stuntans I have ever seen.
What employees have that much leverage over their bosses multi-million pound decisions? The sheer sliminess of letting the women’s team take the burden of public blame (whatever decision is made) is breathtaking.

Sorry for this being totally off any current media chat, but has anyone else noticed the complete lack of negative stories about raheem now he's left us?? Remember the "he earns 500k a week but shops at poundland, and "raheem buys a gold sink whilst children cant afford to it" click bait headlines!!??
Fucking strange that.
I have noticed , he is not a target here for racist media to go at anymore , either that or he has disappeared completely

I think the racist press went home with their tail between their legs in 2018 after the Chelsea crowd racism arrests. Raheem cleverly reacted by pointing out the completely different treatment the press gave Phil Foden and Tosin Adarabioyo when both bought houses for their mums. see article below:

The demonisation of Raheem Sterling

Caught the tail-end of BBC's final score and the arse-licking for Newcastle alongside the unequivocal statement that the rags would be much, much better tonight vs Spurs. No explanation as to how that might be, or any insight or rationale. Just a statement expressed as a fact. Absolute fucking weapons.

Firstly, that’s because Raheem when he was with us brilliantly shut them down and called them out for it .

Secondly, it’s because he’s not now playing for a team that are serial winners that fans of other teams want to read negative things about as much.

It’s success for you. I’ll take it over the alternative :)

Half expecting a story about Gvardiol shagging goats to make an appearance down the line.

I listened to talk sports commentary of match today for bit on my way home and the person co commentating with Sam matterface was terrible pundit. He was desperate for Newcastle to beat us. Funny seeing Craig Burly disappointment because he was saying we were going to be hammered.
