Edited for accuracy
I am most grateful for your edit. I will endeavour to ensure future posts are more accurate. Joking apart BBC appears involved in the algorithm / clickbait war and US owned clubs as a route to increasing traffic. Would be interested to know of expats and US born supporters their views of how media reports aĺ lmatters football. No panja or Sam comments needed

Contrast and compare how both match headlines on the main BBC Football website page were reported. And the pictures used. At least they’ve added Treble winners in the headline.

Only when you click on the City article do you get this picture.

Note. There’s no journalist attached to City‘s article. No doubt Stone is still on his TV licence funded jolly in New York?

That Arsenal kit is awful

Mahrez just like Sterling hasn’t got a personality that connected with the fanbase despite the unbelievable contribution they both gave.

It has nothing to do with race, ethnicity, religion of nationality, it is just human personality.

SWP, Yaya, Bernarbia, Kompany, Fernandinho, even Adebayor all had the personality to connect with fans, I could name more.

The key moment you know a player connects with a fanbase is when a song is created and aired. All of the above had one.

“He’s top of the league, Raheem Sterling, he’s too of the league.”
