Pictures of your Dog

In his short life with us we had a great time.
He was just a joy to watch running.
I work with the woman who asked me to take him in the first place.
It was hard explaining to her, but she was great.
She’s since got a cocker spaniel (easier to handle with a baby in the house).
She has been on to me saying she knows of a woman with an English Setter with 9 pups being given away.
Even waiting three months I think it’s too soon for me.
The missus and son think the same.
We’ve lost two in 20 months and it’s hard.

People who aren’t into dogs don’t get it but dog people understand.
Especially with the last one Cooper, who didn’t reach his second birthday.
It’s like losing a child and people saying to you, will you adopt another?
They are family members.

My son did up a wonderful collage for my 60th birthday.
I can look at the old lab Boey with fondness, but still find it hard to look at the top left picture of Cooper.

I lost my little Cavi 2 years ago. I got a picture of her put onto canvas. It still in a bag in the drawer. I just can't hang it on the wall yet as it is still too painful to look at her. And I miss her like hell. She loved to snuggle on my knee. I can feel your pain bud.

Here’s Rory.
My friend’s dog who I’ve been walking for the last week while she’s in Spain.
Yesterday on the way out of the park the little fecker found a gap in the hedge around the rose gardens and disappeared out of sight. The dog vanished into thin air and I spent the next three and a half hours searching for him with no luck.
Retraced my route back to her house. The dog wasn’t there either. We reported the dog missing and called it a night.
Thinking to myself, that I’m not having much luck with dogs lately.

Got a text from my friend’s daughter that Rory turned up at the door at 00:30 last night.

No more off-lead for you, Rory.

Bess has a sore leg. No exercise for two weeks, so she has a load of energy and is constantly looking for things to chew. She also pines for Blue if I take her for a walk, howling until we return.

He's a beauty! Those paws though, adorable.
My wife agrees with you, although she wants to stuff his adorable paws down his adorable throat to stop his adorable pining for his original pack from keeping her awake all night...I cant hear him over my Hog like snoring apparently, and that's the reason the world is in such a mess...together with that thing i did 18 years ago that totally embarrassed her and gave all women periods

I tried a couple of weeks ago to download a picture of Henry, a Spanish hunting dog crossed with a spaniel, he unfortuately died 2 weeks ago. Today I'll describe George, A big dopey golden retriever who only ever went in water up to his privates and then got out, shook himself over everyone and didn't give a shit........He left us today...he wasn't feeling too good and was coughing, 15 minutes later he'd gone, just like that, no warning, he just lay down outside and as I was talking to him he looked at me and passed on. 2 dogs in 2 weeks....did I upset someone, did I do something really bad in a previous life.

George, you were a big dopey sod but you were my big dopey sod !!!! Rest in peace big fella.
