Doesn’t make sense to go from Eze to Nunes.

With so many questions about where to play Foden, Bernardo, Kovacic even Alvarez I don't think the targets need to be particularly similar.

For me I'd keep foden as far up the pitch as possible and sign Nunes.

So Nunes and Eze are 2 of the 3 names we are looking at. That’s 2 from the prem, maybe the 3rd is an overseas player that is the same calibre.

Doku was a target alongside Olise and Mitoma. Club always makes sure they have multiple targets incase.

I would hope any overseas option is better than those two

They are all ball carriers, like fast transition players that’s really interesting.

Bringing in two players makes a lot more sense if both Phillips and Palmer are on their way out - could recoup £80m+ for those two if they're on permanent deals. Maybe even chuck in McAtee at another £25m+ if he decides his path is blocked.

Wouldn't get much change out of £150m for Nunes and Eze but they're good players, good age, suit what we need.

I think there will be no replacement for Philips if he goes. By reports from i read our team is capable to play this season without Philips leading me to assume our club is not going to replace Philips if he ended up going to be loaned or sold.
