The Glazers love money so if they were going to be bought out eventually in the next few months why give The bald fraud 200m?

I've said previously, could their recent spending be quite a cunning way of deterring potential buyers?

If this recent splurge means that the club will be restricted by FFP in the next few transfer windows then that might put off a new owner who wants to come in and make a statement by splashing the cash?

Then when the Glazers get to stay on as owners they've got a ready made excuse as to why they can't spend any further money in the immediate future.

I get that but if he signs say a 4 year contract on the same (or more) pay then he's not losing out.
Now if West Ham were offering him less then fair enough, chase the rags for the difference.
