I'd check those facts before posting tripeFoden played 10 games and was 17 years of age - Phillips has played 10 minutes and is 27, bit of a difference there.

Fuck all to do with being right,it was the simple fact id given my thinking previously and you,for some odd reason, asked again.
Even know,it seems its not sinking in.......he returned to training in a condition that was not in keeping with our standards, and with plenty to prove.....that was unacceptable.
He’s doing his own reputation harm by staying and not playing.I hope he stays. It’s hasn’t worked out at this minute in time but I hope the club give him a chance to turn it around. Dumping Phillips now is not right Imo. What harm is he doing in the squad? Reevaluate next summer. Get him some game time in the domestic cups to kick on.
all I am saying is that it’s a long season and he may get a chance to turn it around. We can always move him in January if he wants. He can still contribute to the squad imo. He’s doing his own reputation harm by staying and not playing.
We leave it until next summer and he’s barely kicked a ball this season and that will be two full seasons of hardly any games. We’d be lucky to get £10m for him.
Maybe he's running his contract down until Madrid come in for him on a free? He’s doing his own reputation harm by staying and not playing.

When it comes to morons, your posts prove that you are way ahead of most of them .I know none. Now stop replying to me with moronic replies!
Stones has been as out of favour as Phillips is before now.
I can't really say if he can reach our level or not, or at least be enough to contribute but I do think Phillips at his Leeds peak could have been enough to offer something for us.
Wouldn't be shocked if he's gone tomorrow but also wouldn't be shocked if he does fine in a Fernando/Javi Garcia mould for a couple of seasons.
He's definitely not so bad he should never be given a chance, but you do wonder when it'll come.
I've only ever put 2 on ignore, now you're the 3rd, you sad tosser. When it comes to morons, your posts prove that you are way ahead of most of them .
Do yourself a favour and stfu !
A whole week is obviously too long apart for match day threads.
Does he want to take a financial hit?Fuck the bickering, fuck the money we spent on him, and the money he is paid.
The bloke can't be happy not being selected, frozen out. That must take its toll.
Surely he wants first-team football - he isn't getting that with City.
The writing is on the wall.
Does he want to take a financial hit?
Lots of players out there happy to sit it out when they are raking it in. If he leaves he won’t find a club willing to match anywhere near the wage he commands here
Great lad but not good enough unfortunately, would love to be proved wrong.I hope he stays. It’s hasn’t worked out at this minute in time but I hope the club give him a chance to turn it around. Agree but every club make mistakes, Tarquins, Pepe, Chav’s, Lukaku, Rags, Sancho. I’m sorry it’s not working out for Kalvin but we’ve hardly been unsuccessful in tbe transfer market.Very harsh analysis there mate.
Firstly, he didn't sell himself to City, and he didn't set the fee or wages. The club jumped in with both feet and threw money around, following what I can only assume was inadequate scouting / background checks.
We don't know whether or not Phillips is 'grafting' or anywhere near earning his salary, but I wouldn't for one minute think that he "couldn't give a fuck".
The lad is (in my opinion) simply out of his depth at City. He's most likely a thoroughly decent lad... one who effectively 'won the lottery' when we signed him.
I hope he gets a good move and that City do the right thing in relation to paying off his contract when he leaves.
Responsibility for any 'fault' on this occasion lies very firmly with the club, not the player.
Or benefitting himself. He’ll lose his England spot if he doesn’t start playingIf he wants to play football I think he needs to go somewhere even on loan to get match fit. At the moment him being at City is not benefitting the club at all.
Yep, Phillips had 12 league appearancesI'd check those facts before posting tripe
