Kyle can be a fantastic player and he seems a really nice guy. But.

He also has a tendancy to do things that are just plain stupid/lazy. Like in the game this past weekend. It wasn't the back heel that was the issue (everyone's entitled to the odd mistake) - it was the lying on the ground afterwards like a spoilt kid. Had he got up immediately he could have avoided the goal.

To be fair he drove up the field afterwards and got himself in a place to contribute to the winner - but he also benefitted from luck there.

Re the drink, we don't know what is going on in anyone's life/head. I don't think we should jump to any conclussions. That's up to Pep and team.

If he was to go tomorrow (which is doubtful) then I wonder if Frimpong would be a decent replacement and if so would he be availbale last minute I wonder.

I'm not sure why it seems so massively unpopular to state that Walker has no business being club captain. He's obviously well-liked and popular within the squad but it's something new every year with the lad. Orgy parties during COVID, pulling his cock out in a bar, the list goes on. Personally, I'd let him see out his contract and move on. He's lost half a step and gives us close to nothing from an attacking standpoint anyway.
I agree with much of that but he hasn't "lost half a step" imo. He seem to me to be as quick as ever.

Bring back the 4 centre halves I say!
Ake Gvardiol Dias and stones- Love it!

Can't believe what you read on here (or Social Media platforms) sometimes. Kyle Walker made a mistake. Surgeons make mistakes, as do Politicians (lots of them), Doctors, Accountants, Solicitors and Teachers! We are now living in a modern society where people over analyse every action and are quick to condemn those that make mistakes. It's happened, and we move on from it.

People actually forget that Walker chased down the Sheffield United player for our Winner. Fantastic player.

He was good all game as well.

Ferran Soriano, the money before anything else man as always ffs. He squeezes every department. It's money, money, money. He's good at his job tbf, but that man is pure business and nowt else. Khaldoon right on this!

After the arrival of Doku, its not a bad idea I think to sell Palmer for +40m to win the net spend trophy.

Modern football mate, not run on emotions, pure ruthlessness. Big part of why we are where we are. Not changing any soon, can get worse in terms of losing more local talent like that, but time will tell, only the 1% will truly break into the first team when you’re operating at this level and competing/favorites for all tournaments you participate in. Blessing and a curse.

Once again apologies if some of this info is now common knowledge, I’ve not kept up to date with the treads but here’s a few snippets….

Deal all done for Nunes was in for his medical today apparently.

Palmer fee as widely published. Khaldoon does not want to sell him but Ferran is pushing for it so Khaldoon willing to accept but wants terms of payment to be hugely favourable.

Bernardo’s new contract does include a £50m release clause next summer

Walker’s contract not signed yet and not covered himself in glory after coming in to training half cut yesterday!

Finally, rumblings of potentially another last minute signing brewing that may happen but no details of who/position etc

Hardly groundbreaking, I know!
He has no business being our captain. Imagine Ruben, Rodri or KDB acting like that. It would never happen. Great player, though.

Twosips, Soriano is one of the men who made Manchester City the best team in the world, the man who made sustainable development possible.

How am I supposed to take money out of running a club?

To be honest, £45m is a crazy money.

Chelsea is crazy for offering that amount.

No joke.

This is the best we have ever seen Kyle Walker play as a wide fullback for us.

He has contributed alot more in the attack than I (or others) give him credit for, I was always on the side of he is kind of inept if you use him forward in any capacity, but there are some positive signs.

Whether that's a fluke because it's only 3 games, who knows, but I suspect we will see him in that role again against Fulham.
