What I find amusing is seeing them trying to sign all manner of players on loan because their inability to shift the likes of Maguire means they're hamstrung by the very FFP regs that they've always been massively in favour of. FFP was always going to lead to unintended consequences and you can add United to the list of so-called elite clubs who were in favour of it but have subsequently been hampered by it!

Chelsea are raising funds by selling, also when a player who came through the academy is sold the full amount is profit They don't have to worry about UEFA sustainability and financial regulations this season, and I'm guessing they are gambling on a good season and being able to sell more of their stock, which will help balance up as the assessment is over a 3 year period. The rags despite the gloss applied by the media to the financial results they really haven't been that good. I think they had circa £160m to play with without selling this window they also have the highest wage bill by far

Went to the Doctors yesterday and saw a locum. A Nigerian fella. He introduced himself as Kelechi, so immediately went "aaah Iheanacho". He replied "you must be a Leicester fan", I said "no, Man City".

"Hate Man City" he snapped

"Let me guess...Liverpool" I replied.

"Arsenal"

Got me prescription, offered my condolences for last season and wished him luck for this one, smirking ear to ear.

He didn't reply.
