I don't feel comfortable about it because I like how it is at the moment, but it is what it is.
I don't particularly like it either as all that's happened so far is our rivals have been able to get rid of liabilities for great fees, but we have absolutely no grounds for complaint.

Yes Kazakhstan which is in Central Asia but for whatever reason they are UEFA members.
Probably because they used to be part of Russia. Putin says they still are.
In any case membership of UEFA is up to UEFA, so they could just say no.

Well Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries also used to be part of the USSR but don't play in Europe.

Maybe they didn’t ask. I don’t think you can draw conclusions about Saudi from the current position.

If they offered that for Kev, it would be the same
I thought they'd take £150 million, so what do I know about it.

They have a gem in their crown with Ronaldo and Salah would be the icing on their cake. It's not just about his playing ability, it's what he represents........a world class Muslim footballer, known and revered by millions throughout the world.

He'd be a quite a coup for this Saudi master plan and even at £200 million, he'd be cheap in the big scheme of things.

Joking apart the authorities need to do something, if they can. You can't allow a club with unlimited wealth to just sign all its leagues best players. They brought ffp in to stop ourselves doing this so they need to get their act together quickly.
That’s up to the Asian Football Confederation to decide. Why would they see a problem? They’d want their countries to usurp UEFA’s leagues and eventually have the top leagues in Asia instead of Europe.

Salah will be sold in this window, no way fsg are refusing that kind of money, declined the first bid to appease the tramps, money talks

If the Saudis want to join the Champions League they would have to adhere to FFP which if UEFA stuck to their guns would make it impossible. They made a loss of €30m on €70m turnover according to the latest accounts. Add in Benzema’s Kante’s and Fabinho wages (about £300m) and there’s a huge financial disparity. How they find a way to beat FFP would be unbelievable bearing in mind the scrutiny we came under.

Football has become too Eurocentric, it’s good for the game if MLS keeps growing, Saudi becomes a force in MENA and the African Super League starts closing the gap between African football and everywhere else.

We aren’t going to run out of talented footballers.
