PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Dipper media again resurrecting the "Dippers are watching with interest " bollocks , what do they think will happen ? the history books will be changed and they will be awarded a couple of titles from a period were we were not even under investigation . Correct me if i am wrong but arent the charges between 2012 and 2018 , they bottled their title challenges after this period. Dreamers
Just ask them about the £50m charged to planning fees for a stadium that never happened, but which got them through ffp (2 years running I think). £50m on PED’s more likely

The dodgy cunts failed it and they know it. The reasons given for failing by £53m for reporting period 2011-2013 from memory, vapour stadium, academy costs, clearing up the mess from Gillette and Hicks, of course that was all taken at face value, no need to investigate further, thank you and goodnight. The summer before Mansour took over, City were virtually bust, Shinawatra had his money frozen, City had gone cap in hand to Sky to get TV money in advance, Ex Chairman Wardle paid the players wages on several occasions over the summer, I assume the new management had a mountain of shit to clear up, but none was used as an excuse when we reluctantly took the UEFA sanctions.

The silliest comment was by Henry Winters The Times:
”We don’t want lawyers delaying matters”……code for do away with due process.
I had talk shite on the other night. No idea who the presenters were but one of them brought up the subject and asked when is the hearing going to happen?

"All we hear is that that it will be "imminent". Which means what? How imminent is imminent? It's been since February when the 115 charges were brought against the club and it needs to be resolved....."

The fuckers are so desperate. It will break them when City are cleared

Do you think any of them might be suicidal ?

I would disagree, if our evidence is as we say the process should be quick but I have never for one second believed the actions of the PL was to damage our "brand" , hence why they are more than happy to delay proceedings as long as possible.
The investigation - putting together the case against us - took 4 years. Why should the process of testing the case against us take substantially less time?

It will take whatever time it should. If we win the media will disbelieve it and if PL win we will disbelieve it.

Nothing will change and we will find another thread to call each other.

Obviously we have the charges to compound us together as team, fans and owners with trophies to display. Let's hope we don't lose focus if and when the decision comes. Until then and after the result it's us against the rest of them so let's enjoy it.

Nobody at talkshite has the slightest idea about this

Problem is arseholes will argue that is when we built the foundations for future success so it is relevant ie Tevez led to yaya led to silva led to Sergio……led to Harland. Sooner it’s done with the sooner we can stop the smug bitter wankers snipping.
Can they go back to the 70's & 80's when John Moores/Littlewoods Pools bank rolled their success , if it is unfair now surely buying league titles in the 70's & 80's was just as corrupt as the present day
But the Rags and Dippers success is organic apparently , it came from pre-FFP days when owners could do what they f*ck they want , organic my arse , they had a sugar daddy and would have won fuck all without the Littlewoods money

Two students from Sheffield - so two students that haven't gained any honours yet then and are probably more interested in Marilyn Manson than football finance.
The people who wrote the report?

It wasn't thrilling, but they're not students. Both PhDs with years of experience. One is Course Leader on the LLM International Sports Law in Practice course, and the guy in the video is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Finance.

But according to Chris in London, who practices the law every day, they're wrong.

Sugar dadddies going right back to being the shame of my home town Newton Heath.
